Welcome to our 8th annual bull sale at Cornerview. In 2022, we received recognition from the CCA for 40 years as breeders. Reflecting on those years, we’ve gained a lot of good friends and made a lot of progress with our breeding program. Our customers motivate us to always strive for better and we’ve invested in genetics and testing to accomplish that.

This year we are offering a very balanced set of bulls with calving ease, soundness, performance, and profitability – traits that matter most to you – built in.

2K is an LT Patriot son that has a ton of presence. He carries himself with an attractive front end and smooth shoulder and still has a masculine herd bull look. You’ll also admire him for his length of body and width. 2K is very complete and will add look and power to your next calf crop. His dam needs very little introduction being the base cow in the CV east program. At 12 years of age she still holds the shape of a five-year-old. She was named Reserve National Champion Female in Canada in 2012 as a yearling and Reserve National Heifer Calf in 2011. 2K is the type of bull everyone needs – sound, good footed, with performance and calving ease, built-in longevity and quality with a great set of numbers to top it all off. 28 CORNERVIEW KILKENNEY 28K Kilkenney is a quality red herd bull. 28K is long bodied with a wide top, spring of rib and extra length. Sired by CEE/SOS Command known for calving ease and maternal strength. Kilkenney has good feet and is free moving with a great hair coat.

He is out of 35Y, one of the oldest cows in the herd, who has a stood the test of time at 12 years of age, giving him maternal strength on both sides of his pedigree.

Kentucky will catch your eye with his buff colour, extra hair and nice head. Be sure to look for him sale day as heifer bulls that don’t sacrifice weaning weights are hard to come by.

30 CORNERVIEW KELSO 30K Kelso is a red factor Homerun son with extra length, a wide top and thick hair coat. We only have a few Homeruns but have been very pleased with their calving ease, vigor at birth and growth. If you’re wanting a homo polled bull that will increase you weaning weights, I would highly recommend Kelso. There are many generations of this cow family at Cornerview that are known for structure, performance and temperament.

Kansas is extremely deep bodied and wide over his top and carries a lot of shape down into his hip. Having some Tansy blood in this guy will ensure longevity and temperament. Don’t hesitate on this guy - this will be the last year to add a Chicago to your program.

50 CORNERVIEW KRYPTONITE 50K Kryptonite is smooth fronted homo polled, long bodied bull like all the Bandito progeny. His mother is a young, broody Chicago female with tons of milk and has been a consistent producer. 50K will be a good calving bull with a -1.5 BW and his ADJ WW of 825 lbs ranked him #1 within his contemporary group.

Kryptonite is almost an end of February but has caught up to his January pen mates as far weight and performance.

55 CORNERVIEW KIPLING 55K If you are looking for a super smooth bull with low birthweight and extra growth then look no further! 55K may be the best put together bull in the pen. He is from a beautiful young female with lots of milk and a perfect udder. Kipling represents low birthweights and great growth, while maintaining excellent feet, an attractive head and impressive hair coat. All with a nice, balanced set of EPDs.

59 CORNERVIEW KICKSTART 59K Kickstart is an April bull with extra depth, length and eye appeal that always catches the eye when you walk through the pen. He was shown successfully last fall being named Champion Junior Bull Calf National Champion 2022 at RAWF. He is one of the deepest, stoutest bulls we have in this year’s pen. He is easy fleshing with a perfect temperament and sound structure. Don’t be surprised if Heather is bidding against you on this guy as Brett owns him and she wants to take him on the road again this year!
