As always all the bulls can come back to the farm after the sale to be wintered free of charge and will be delivered to you in breeding shape, once they have passed their semen test! We invite you all to view the bulls at the ranch before the sale. Their moms are never far away and would love to show you the cow herd at any time. Videos will be up on DLMS mid November. Please contact us if you have any questions on the offering or to set up a time to come see the bulls beforehand. Look forward to seeing you at the sale on December 5th!

We all were nervous in May but then came June with loads of moisture, which turned into a great forage crop that we all are very happy about. The calf price is still very high with many of us probably cashing in on the second biggest calf cheque ever. I feel inventory is key at times like this. Retaining heifers is a great way to maintain numbers and keep the cow herd youthful. Many bulls are suited for heifers in this sale!

Once again I feel there is a great set of calving ease and performance type bulls that will work out on the range and bounce back after they are done breeding. This year we had a ton of bull calves to choose from. We cut harder and we all know that makes them even more uniform than ever. We value cows that have lots of longevity and check the boxes on being functional cattle that are sound and easy on the eyes. We have shifted more to using outstanding walking bulls that we have gone the extra mile to see the mom and granddams or sisters to evaluate the best foot structures we can find as well they need to be what we are looking for.

• Titanium was our pick of the bulls at Bar EL Angus 4 years ago. Once we seen the dam and grand dam he came to the top very easily. Their udders were second to none and their feet were perfect. • Titanium has done nothing but impress us! Since birth his calves have been standouts and have just kept growing and looking better everyday. • He adds lots of length and power while still maintaining a refined look.

We would like to welcome visitors at any time to view the cow herd along with the bulls. We really pride ourselves on having fantastic Hereford cows that can produce at a young age right alongside our Angus cows. We don’t wait for cattle to blossom on feed to sell as 2 year olds. If that doesn’t wean a heavy calf they simply don’t stay. We may not have huge numbers of Hereford cows but we really take a ton of pride in raising some of the best and if they don’t produce and have a great look they are sent to town. Please feel free to come anytime to see the bulls and cows at home before the sale. Sale videos should be up towards mid Nov. See you at the sale!!

We would like to welcome everyone to our 11th Annual sale! We were all looking at ourselves mid May wondering how we were going to make it through this year. The taps turned on in June and blessed us with one of the best forage crops we have ever had. We are thankful for having lots of feed on board as you never know what years ahead look like. I feel we are still enjoying great times in the cattle industry and again feel inventory is key. Heifer retention can be a great way to maintain or increase cattle numbers. With that in mind there are a few options both Polled and Horned heifer bull options.

Have you ever wondered why God chose us to live in this wonderful time in history? Today we get to share our love of agriculture and especially the cattle business and its people with each other. The cattle here are produced with the customer in mind and are made for your rugged conditions. Things look pretty optimistic with the shortage of beef cows in North America. We should be set up with a promising future if politics can get out of the way and let the markets do what they should. Enjoy our time together today, buy with confidence and have a great Christmas. God Bless. Note: Bulls have all been parentage tested; all of them are free from known genetic defects. Additionally all but Lots 49 & 51 are homozygous.

Welcome everyone back to the British Connection Bull Sale. We have enjoyed a great year with our kids growing fast and keeping us moving. We are extremely grateful to raise our family in the ag business and to have the ability to raise quality cattle. This will always be something we don’t take for granted. We continue to invest in herd sires with replacement females with udder quality, soundness and longevity at the top of our mind. We have a nice set of bulls this year - same as every year, these guys are raised in a commercial setting, calving in spring, raised on no creep feed, back grounded in the fall and winter and put back out to pasture for spring/summer months. Thanks for looking and we wish everyone a good fall run.

We purchased 3042 together with DK Herefords from Bill King Ranch. We were looking for an outcross, but one backed by proven genetics, and with Bell Heir and Miles McKee in his pedigree, he carries some of the breed’s best sires. We’ve been really pleased with his production. He holds exceptional condition year-round while breeding at both operations, and his first daughters calve this spring and are shaping up to be outstanding.

Eview Farming Co Ltd at Gull Lake, SK on top off the bench where we get lots off wind and very cold winters. These cold temperature make tougher cattle and cattleman, and its also a very good place for lots of rain and good grass, so we can’t complain. Our cow herd consists of British breed females. We start picking heifers to keep for breeding at calving time. Moms have to have good feet, udders & teet size and have to have a very good temperament to pass the test. Calves have to be lively and have to get up right away to have their frist drink. Calves have to be in the birthweight of 80 lbs and up. At weaning time they get weighed and if they don’t have close to half of there moms body weight they don’t stay. The good ones we keep and feed them a TMR barley silage hay & barley grain ration with a mineral pack. We try and keep gain at 2 to 2.5 lbs a day. We only keep heifers penned for 50 days after weaning and then they go out on 5 acres so they get exercise. Before going out to get bred, heifers get checked over and anything we see wrong go to cull pen. HEALTH PROTOCOL At Branding time: Nasalgen 3 PMH. Vision 8 Somnus.
