Hello everyone and welcome to KT Ranches 2nd annual bull sale, online for our ranch in British Columbia. Having grown up on and around farms ranches we have a passion for the cattle industry and the people in it. Six years ago, we made the decision to pursue the purebred business, progressively acquiring leading genetics to grow the elite portion of our herd and service our future customers.

With the genetics in hand, the next most important piece of the puzzle for success was finding the right people for our team and the right people to lead them. We advertised, talked with people in the purebred business, and were fortunate enough to interview many talented people. We are elated Geoff Anderson and his wife Lacey Anderson have come on board with their depth of knowledge, work ethic and integrity. Geoff’s knowledge and leadership will be key.

This year we calved in Cherryville as well as Campbell Lake Ranch in Kamloops. Cathy Forward has done an excellent job getting the Ranch up and running along with Joe Hamilton while we were challenged with drought and forest fires. We are very pleased that Jason Muhlbach and his wife Tamarra have joined our team. Doug, Les, Richie, Pat, Roberto, Rosie, Connor, Carson, and Jean have all worked extremely hard to meet the challenges the weather brought this year with 1300 animals to manage. Don Hladych of Vale Farms fed our replacements for the winter at his place. Thank you Don! We are fortunate to have Dr. Michael Walker and his team from Abbotsford Veterinary Service who have done a great job on our genetic work.

The bulls on offer all have very good feet, quiet temperaments, and are structurally sound. All bulls have been examined by our veterinarians for soundness and passed a semen test. We stand behind our animals and commit to the guarantee as outlined in this catalogue. If your bull arrives and you are unhappy, we will replace him or find acceptable solution of a sale credit or refund. Repeat customers will receive a discount on their purchases as a thank you for your support of our program.

These are available upon request. The payment of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par to Bohrson Marketing Services, unless satisfactory credit or invoicing arrangements have been make prior to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until settlement has been made.

We will deliver bulls to central points in Western Canada and will assist with trucking to Eastern Canada and the USA.

Every bull has passed a semen evaluation by a licensed veterinarian prior to the sale and is structurally sound and capable of breeding cows naturally. Fleshing ability Within 9 months after breeding season, your bull should have recovered the weight loss and be in reasonable, healthy condition with a good quality forage diet. We are not responsible for anything above the purchase price of the bull.

If the conditions of the guarantee are not achieved, we will do one of four things: 1) Replace the bull with one of equal value (most practical during breeding season) 2) Replace the bull and adjust the value agreed upon (most practical during or before breeding season) 3) Take back or ship the bull and credit will be given to you for the selection of another bull the following year (most practical after breeding season.) 4) Take back or ship the bull and a credit will be given to you for the selection of another bull the following year (most practical after breeding season).

After 1 breeding season - 75% of the purchase price. Year 2 50% of the purchase price. Year 3 - 25% of the purchase price.

KT Ranches reserves 1/3 semen interest in all bulls and the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at the sellers expense and the buyers convenience. Any semen collected will be collected for in herd use only.

An excellent trio of flush brothers by SAV Rainfall 6846 and Countess 9026 to lead off the catalogue. Countess 9026 is an incredible female that has been admired by many, ever since she was the $53,500 lead-off heifer calf in the Brooking invitational Chapter 7 sale. Later that fall 9026 and her dam went on to be Supreme Champion at Canadian Western Agribition. The next fall, at the only show in Canada, Countess 9026 was named supreme, as a bred heifer, at the Stockade Round-up in Lloydminster. SAV Rainfall 6846 is another individual that needs no introduction. He was part of one of the most historic flushes in SAV history and is responsible for some of the best young cattle in the breed.

Some of our very favourite young cows in the herd are sired by Rainfall 6846. This is an incredible flush of brothers. These bulls are powerful, deep bodied, heavy and good looking. These are big time bulls that will add power and leave beautiful females.
