Fall 2019 Private Treaty Bull Sale Our families welcome you to our inaugural Private Treaty Bull Sale at Pennridge Ranch. We appreciate your time and support of our program and our bulls. We are thrilled with this group of bulls.

We are tough on our cow herds and cull deeply for problems such as feet, udders, fertility and temperament. This set of bulls is a result of those efforts. These bulls all have wonderful phenotype, structure and temperament and will work well in both a commercial and registered herd.

These bulls are all coming 2 year olds and are ready to go to work.

OUR PROGRAMS: Pennridge Ranch is a multi-generation cattle ranch located in Paige Texas. Bill Austin Brangus is located in Menard and Concho counties. We have both been in the cattle business for over 30 years each and are committed to providing our customers with excellent cattle. It is our goal to be your partner for Brangus cattle. We utilize the leading progressive genetics for our breeding programs to gain the best offspring results. Our genetic decisions are made to produce uniform, moderate, balanced and high performing cattle that will excel in both the commercial and registered herd.

DATA DRIVEN: All the bulls have been DNA tested to verify parentage and to gain Genomic Enhanced Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs). This offers more accuracy in predicting each individual bull’s performance and progeny. They have been ultrasound scanned as yearlings to determine their IMF (Intramuscular Fat), REA (Rib Eye Area), and Back Fat. We are humbled and grateful for your support.

Sale Format:

The bulls will all be priced in advance. If more than one person is interested in purchasing the bulls, we will increase the price by $100 until the buyer is determined.

We hope this format is buyer friendly and offers quality animals at a fair price for our customers. It is our goal to be transparent and offer a stress-free environment.

The bulls are available for preview now through sale day.

Loadout:

Cattle will be available for load out immediately after the sale once payment has been made. If you prefer to pick up your bull at a later time, we will house your bull(‘s) for a fee of $3.50 per day plus any veterinary charges incurred. We can also coordinate shipment of your bull. Trucking expense will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

General Information:

Please note that the animals you purchase become your responsibility at time of purchase. We do not take responsibility for animals that may be injured in transport. Insurance is available for those who would desire that coverage.

All bulls selling in this sale have passed a comprehensive breeding soundness exam (BSE) by Dr. Steve Schultz. Each bull has been checked thoroughly by Dr. Schultz for fertility and soundness/structure and has been approved as a future breeding bull. All bulls are guaranteed for fertility and soundness for one year. This guaranty does not cover injury. Call Pete DeLeeuw at 713-254-6019 if a problem arises. Please call before shipping the bull. Shipment of the bull voids the warranty.

A transferred certificate of registry will be furnished to the purchaser for each registered animal once proper settlement has been made.

We strive to present all the information on the cattle as accurately as possible at the time the information was assembled.
