Welcome To Our Fifth Autumn Cattle Drive Fall has arrived - Winter is just around the corner - crops are harvested - and the show season has been completed. The cattle numbers across the country and the USA have never been lower. What an opportunity to purchase genetics to increase ones herd and /or bloodlines.

The consignors are constantly striving to improve their bloodlines and ultimately to produce the beef the industry is known for. - “ Beef that can perform - produce an offspring - improves one herd and finally produce on the rail� The time has never been better to acquire new or old genetics.Numbers in the cattle industry are at an all time low.

The animals offered are from reputable breeders who have dug deep into their herd to offer their BEST. Everyone has an opportunity to view the cattle on Friday evening and on Saturday morning preceding the sale. For more information on any entries the consignors can be contacted.

Posthaven Limousin - Reference Sires Welcome to our major production sale. Posthaven is offering a major cross-section of our herd. We have been building our herd since 1988, while at the same time offering select cattle to customers. Quality breeding bulls and breeding females are sold through our bi-annual sales. Our customer base continues to grow as we broaden our horizons. To complement our breeding enterprise, we have begun a meat order business - specializing in natural limo beef free of hormones.

We have also had success in marketing our genetics to Europe, Australia and the USA. Embryos and semen have been sold world wide. As a result of the sale of Urban Cowboy to Semex in our 2009 sale, our genetics have been distributed world-wide. We have continued our efforts on cow families, while at the same time working with new blood lines from Europe and the USA. At the present, there are some interesting bloodlines being introduced to our herd from France and Denmark.

At this time we need to decrease our herd size, due to our small acreage and the fact that we have had a great heifer crop. In order to introduce new genetics into the herd, some of our older and proven cows are being offered at the sale. While hard to part with, we are confident that they will go on and work for their new owners. At the same time, we have consigned our complete group of bred heifers- none have been held back.

We will help our customers ship their purchases. Any cattle that await transport can be housed at the farm at no charge for a reasonable time, while awaiting transportation. In regards to our young herd sires offered in the sale, they can be housed at the farm till spring at no charge. Payment terms on the bulls are $1000 down on sale day with the balance due May 1st or upon delivery/pick-up (whatever is first). Our bulls are sold as guaranteed breeders.

She is a granddaughter of a Lonestar heifer we sold in the first polled fullblood sale in Alberta to Mountain Park Ranch. Her 2008 son, Urban Cowboy, was purchased by Semex. Her 2010 bull is doing herd duty at Allan Martin’s in Listowel. Her 2011 bull is offered as Lot 2. Embryos of this cow have been sold in Germany and at our last sale to TMF and Don Rae. Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Limousin Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
