catstudio is the original geography design company. We create unique geographical artwork with a bit of humor and nostalgia mixed into each handcrafted piece. Inspired by our love of travel and discovery, we are able to capture your most cherished memories and the emotional connections that we all have to different parts of the world - growing up in Ohio, college in Texas, summer trips to Yellowstone & children living in San Francisco. Everyone has a “catstudio story.”

Who is catstudio?
We are husband and wife team, C(armel) A(nd) T(errell), that has grown into a company of dreamers and doers, seekers and alchemists. We are forever on a journey to capture the essence of places near and far so that they can be enjoyed, shared, and loved for many years to come. With a love for world culture, a thirst for travel, and a deep appreciation for art, design, and craftsmanship, we have evolved into a design icon, originating the geography genre within the home, gift, and design marketplace since 2000.

Our Collections & Products The Geography Collection is the grand dame of our collections and designs. It’s the heart of our company, and the thread that connects us all. • Pillows: All of our pillows are original, copyrighted works of art but what makes
The Geography Collection pillows so special is the fact that they are entirely hand embroidered by a team of skilled artisans. Made on organic cotton, these little works of art measure 20”x20” (some designs are sized at 18”x24”) and come in all 50 states, some cities, countries, regions, resorts, ski areas, nat’l parks, holidays, and icons. • Dish Towels: Our dish towels are screen printed with a hand-stitched border and multi colored ric-rac trim. They generously measure 20”x29” and are made of 100% cotton. Coming packaged in our classic reusable organdy pouch, they are ready for gift-giving. • Drinking Glasses: Chin, chin! Our drinking glasses are on the forefront of glass decoration innovation – unlimited, vibrant colors on a 15-ounce frosted tumbler, and they are dishwasher safe, to boot. You can’t just have one! • Zip Pouches: Our original, officially licensed collegiate art is colorfully woven and sewn into a handy-dandy sized zip pouch with so many great uses. Complete with our signature collegiate lining and adorable pennant-shaped zipper pull, not to mention the incredible woven design - you won’t believe the detail!
The Collegiate Collection is spearheading licensed
collegiate products as we know it. Entirely capturing the essence of each school, campus, and college community by working one-onone with every school’s licensing department. We are producing items that will delight everyone from incoming freshman, athletic fans, to far-reaching alumni. The embroidered pillows take up to 10 hours to make just one on specialized machines that bring art, rich colors, and details to life.
