In India, Apple officially releases the iPhone 14 series. While the Pro models receive all the significant upgrades, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus receive minimal but significant updates.

There are major upgrades to the iPhone 14 Pro models compared to the iPhone 13 Pro models. Not only do these models offer updated specifications, they also come with a new design. iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max feature a pill shaped notch, Apple calls it “Dynamic Island”. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max start at Rs 1,29,900 while the Phone 14 Pro Max costs Rs 1,39,900.

Apple’s newly launched iPhone 14 Pro models offer major upgrades over their predecessor, including a 48-megapixel primary camera, the latest A16 Bionic chip and satellite connectivity. Let’s look at what these two iPhone 14 Pro models have to offer and their prices. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Details And Specs Design: With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple finally ditched the wide notch. However, the 14 and Plus models still feature the wide notch of the iPhone 13. The Pro models have a pill-shaped notch on the front, known as a dynamic island. In terms of the rear panel design, it has the same triple camera system as the iPhone 13 Pro series, but this time it has high-quality sensors instead.

Cameras: A 48-megapixel triple rear camera system is featured on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max for the first time. There’s also a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens for zoomed-up photos. The iPhones offer a 12-megapixel rear camera for selfies and video calls, and the primary 48-megapixel camera will capture 12-megapixel binned images, which will help in clicking much better low-light shots.

Battery: According to Apple, the iPhone 14 Pro models can easily last for one full day with a single charge. The company also claims that by comparing the iPhone 14 Pro models with their predecessors, the iPhone 14 Pro models deliver a much better battery lifetime.

Software: The iPhone 14 series runs the latest iOS 16 software out-of-the-box.

Display: With a liquid Retina display, the iPhone 14 Pro offers a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch screen with a pill-shaped notch, maximum brightness of 1600 nits, 2,000 nits, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. As well as Always on display, the Pro models also have 120Hz refresh rates and wide colour gamuts.

Processor: Apple’s Pro models are equipped with an A16 Bionic chip with 4nm manufacturing and a sixcore CPU, which consumes 20 percent less power.

Variants: There are four different variants of each model: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1TB.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Costs And Availability In India The 128GB base model of the iPhone 14 Pro costs Rs 1,29,900 in India, while the 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models cost Rs 1,39,900, Rs 1,59,900, and Rs 179,900, respectively. With 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models, the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,39,900. The 1TB model costs Rs 1,89,900, Rs 1,69,900, and Rs 1,49,900, respectively.

The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will go on sale on September 13 through Apple stores and authorized retailers. Pre-orders will begin on September 9.
