Basic Prayers Our Father Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Oraciones Padre Nuestro Padre nuestro, que estás en el cielo, santificado sea tu nombre; venga a nosotros tu reino, hágase tu voluntad, en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día, perdona nuestras ofensas, como también nosotros perdonamos a los que nos ofenden; no nos dejes caer en la tentación, y líbranos del mal. Amén. Ave María Dios te Salve, María, llena eres de gracia, el Señor es contigo. Bendita tú eres entre todas las mujeres y bendito es el fruto de tu vientre, Jesús. Santa María, Madre de Dios, ruega por nosotros, pecadores, ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte. Amén. Gloria al Padre Gloria al Padre y al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo. The Order of Mass Introductory Rites The faithful dispose themselves properly to celebrate the Eucharist.
Before Mass begins, the people gather in a spirit of recollection, preparing for their participation in the Mass. All stand during the entrance procession. Sign of the Cross After the Entrance Chant, the Priest and the faithful sign themselves with the Sign of the Cross: Priest: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Response: Amen. Greeting The Priest greets the people, with one of the following: 1. Pr. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2. Pr. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3. Pr. The Lord be with you. The people reply: R. And with your spirit.

Ordinario de la Misa Ritos Iniciales
Recibimos al sacerdote de pie, que se acerca al altar y lo besa. Si no se hubiera entonado canto alguno, se recita la antífona de entrada. Signo de la cruz Sacerdote: En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo. Asamblea: Amén. Saludo Saludo del Pueblo: 1. S. La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el amor del Padre y la comunión del Espíritu Santo estén con todos vosotros. A. Y con tu espíritu. 2. S. La gracia y la paz de Dios, nuestro Padre y de Jesucristo, el Señor, estén con todos vosotros. A. Bendito es Dios, Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. 3. Pr. El Señor esté con vosotros. A. Y con tu espíritu.

The Priest, or a Deacon, or another minister, may very briefly introduce the faithful to the Mass of the day. Penitential Act There are three forms of the Penitential Act which may be chosen from as appropriate. Pr. Brethren (brothers and sisters), let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries. A brief pause for silence follows. Then one of the following forms is used: 1. I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, (and, striking their breast, they say:) through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. 2. Pr. Have mercy on us, O Lord. R. For we have sinned against you. Pr. Show us, O Lord, your mercy. R. And grant us your salvation.

El sacerdote lee la ‘Antífona de entrada’ de ese día. Acto Penitencial El sacerdote invita a los fieles al arrepentimiento: S. Hermanos, antes de celebrar estos sagrados misterios reconozcamos nuestros pecados. Tras un breve silencio, todos reconocen sus pecados con la oración: 1. Yo confieso, ante Dios todopoderoso y ante vosotros hermanos, que he pecado mucho de pensamiento, palabra, obra y omisión, por mi culpa, por mi culpa, por mi gran culpa. Por eso ruego a Santa María, siempre Virgen, a los Angeles, a los Santos y a vosotros, hermanos, que intercedáis por mí ante Dios nuestro Señor. 2. S. Señor, ten misericordia de nosotros. A. Porque hemos pecado contra ti. S. Muéstranos, Señor, tu misericordia. A. Y danos tu salvación.

Invocations naming the gracious works of the Lord may be made, as in the example below: 3. Pr. You were sent to heal the contrite of heart: Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison. R. Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison. Pr. You came to call sinners: Christ, have mercy. Or: Christe, eleison. R. Christ, have mercy. Or: Christe, eleison. Pr. You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us: Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison. R. Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison. The absolution by the Priest follows: Pr. May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. R. Amen. The Kyrie, eleison (Lord, have mercy) invocations follow, unless they have just occurred. Pr. Lord, have mercy. R. Lord, have mercy. Pr. Christ, have mercy. R. Christ, have mercy. Pr. Lord, have mercy. R. Lord, have mercy. Or: Pr. Kyrie, eleison. R. Kyrie, eleison. Pr. Christe, eleison. R.
