What is Eius?

On the day of his ordination, a priest lies on the marble in front of the altar, offering himself completely to God and the Church. In that sacred moment, his heart burns with a singular purpose: To belong to the Lord. To be His.

Eius is Catholic Leadership Institute’s ongoing formation service that is carefully crafted to be a guiding force in a priest’s ministry, refocusing him to the resolve of his ordination and helping him navigate a complex world of ministry.

Though the grace of ordination endures, the world around the priest is constantly shifting. Today, many priests find themselves unprepared for the demands of ministry that extend far beyond parish walls. Like the first apostles, they are called to venture “into the deep,” meeting a world aching for faith and communion with God.

Eius offers a unique 9-month learning experience with in-person learning, virtual discussions, one-on-one leadership coaching, and self-paced learning. Built on decades of experience in adult learning and priestly leadership training, Eius helps priests develop new skills, leadership practices, and perspectives about themselves, one another, and the Lord.
