Paddle Raise 2014 IDEA L AB
PADDLE RAISE 2014
IDEA Lab Opening in 2014, the IDEA Lab was made possible through the generosity of our community during the 16th Annual Gala Paddle Raise. This space provides children with developmentally appropriate entry points to creativity, design thinking, and relevant educational technology resources. In IDEA (Innovation, Design, Engineering and Art) students integrate classroom learning with state-of-the-art technology and traditional tools to complete highly engaging projects. In addition, we have dedicated Middle School classes focused on developing skills in specific competencies such as laser cutting, Adobe Creative Suite, CNC, sewing, woodworking, electronics, coding, 3D printing, etc. Computational thinking is at the heart of what we do in IDEA. We are continuously learning and adapting to a changing and evolving world. Additionally, the Tinker Space is a carefully designed space with foundational resources for our youngest learners.
