A MODERN TROPICAL FAMILY HOUSE IN KEMBANGAN, WEST JAKARTA. THIS HOUSE OWNER IS A FAMILY WITH 4 CHILDREN. SOO HOUSE IS RESPONDED TO THE PANDEMIC SITUATION.
2021/ Architectural Design II Post Pandemic Residental House Kembangan, West Jakarta, Indonesia
The main purpose on the first floor is the living room. The client’s house is often visited by big families and neighbors.
Respond to the information, two living rooms were made in the pavilion and living room. The pavilion will be used for non-family guests and the living room will be used for big family events.
Responded to client’s data, this villa have some outdoor facilities which facing the view. So, client can enjoy the view on the east side.
Responded to client’s data that they want a recreation room, this villa has a mini theater.
There is zen garden with some bamboo behind the bedroom. So, the children can sit down on the round door that direct to the bamboo.
Kyujitsu means holiday in Japanese. This Villa made for client’s family to recreating and refreshing. Located not far from Jakarta, this villa located at the edge of a cliff. This villa theme is Japanese with modern concept.

Inclusive education has become a global concern, including in Indonesia. In West Jakarta, efforts towards inclusive education have grown but still face challenges in ensuring accessibility and equality for students with disabilities. Minister of Education Regulation Number 22 of 2023 stipulates standards for educational facilities and infrastructure, but in practice there are significant gaps, especially in the school construction project in Grogol, West Jakarta.
Several accessibility provisions have not been met, such as access to the upper floor, toilets, and adequate classrooms. This school design analyzes these gaps and provides recommendations to improve inclusive education, with the hope of making a significant contribution to the development of inclusive education in West Jakarta.

Designing a school that provides residential facilities to overcome logistical and transportation challenges
Designing a dormitory that complies with regulations regarding schools and dormitories 1
The building has 4 masses based on their respective functions. 2 building masses are made following the slope of the qibla, namely the mosque building and the men’s dormitory. The building is also added a circular accent in the middle of the building to respond to the need for a 40 m diameter ramp.
The ramp is designed inside the school building continuously from the 1st floor to the roof of the 6th floor to make it easier for people with disabilities in the school to climb the building.
Mashrabiya is a traditional architectural element in the Arab and Islamic regions in the form of a decorative window or lattice made of wood with geometric or floral patterns.
The rooms at this Islamic Boarding School have been adapted to the needs of children with disabilities, making it easier for them to carry out learning activities at school.
