Join our 2023 CVCC Excellence in Teaching Award Winner, Ms. Sarah Joyner, and our 2023 Staff Excellence Award Winner, Ms. Christy Lefevers, for a special presentation and student panel.

Unity Games
Location: Tarlton Complex Walking Track
Join the CVCC Deans in a series of fun, light-hearted competitive activities led by various programs on campus. Try your hand at golf putting, corn hole, musical chairs, button-making, and more!

CommUNITY Tents and Art Exhibit
Location: Tarlton Complex Lobby and Parking Lot
Browse exhibits in our Unity Day art gallery, and enjoy musical performances, dance and spoken word poetry. Also visit with various CVCC student clubs.

Food Truck
Location: Tarlton Complex Parking Lot
Enjoy lunch with one of our participating food truck vendors. Faculty, staff, and students that earn three “participation punches” will receive an $5 voucher towards lunch at the food trucks!

Soaring in Unity Stroll, Popsicles, and Awards
Location: Starts in Tarlton Complex Parking Lot and Ends in Quad
All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to participate in the first-ever CVCC Unity Stroll across campus. Join us as we walk to celebrate unity! Programs, clubs, and departments are encouraged to showcase their Red Hawk pride through creative signs, t-shirts, and other creative spirit ideas. (Please see next page for more information).

CVCC Graphic Design student and 3D Club member, Suzanna Maxwell, designed the shirt incorporating puzzle pieces to represent how events like this bring the community together both on and off campus. Shirts were printed by the 3D Graphic Design club members.
