You did it! Congratulations on earning your respective degrees and forever leaving an outstanding impression on our Castleton community. As you transition from students to graduates, let me be one of the first to welcome you into our alumni network of more than 20,000 Spartans! We are beyond thankful for the impact you’ve made here at Castleton and look forward to following the many accomplishments you will encounter in whatever personal and professional endeavors you choose to explore next.

But your experience as a Spartan does not end here …

Your role in the Castleton community continues far beyond Commencement. Castleton alumni remain an integral part of our Spartan network and maintain valued connections through our many resources, activities, and events year-round. Our Development Office and Alumni Association are dedicated to keeping alumni in touch with Castleton and one another, in addition to providing numerous benefits and services to our ever-growing Spartan family. Whether it is attending our annual Homecoming Weekend, cheering on Spartan athletics, supporting a visual arts performance in the Casella Theater, joining a local alumni gathering in your area, or simply sporting our signature 343-green your continued engagement elevates our Castleton spirit for Spartans past, present, and future.

Most importantly, stay in touch! Just because you are no longer on campus does not mean we do not want to hear from you. Tell us what you are up to post-graduation, share exciting professional and personal updates, reach out to your favorite faculty members, and make sure we have your recent contact information to receive details on alumni events and important campus news.

Lifelong membership to the Alumni Association is guaranteed to all individuals who graduate from Castleton University. The Castleton Alumni Association serves as a bridge that connects all aspects of the Spartan community, featuring a diverse alumni network of over 20,000 members worldwide.

Alumni Association membership includes exclusive access to Castleton events, including remote alumni gatherings, reunions, and campus activities throughout the year, as well as specialty publications and mailings. Active involvement allows alumni to stay up to date with the University and one another, in addition to continuing to play a critical role in supporting campus developments, scholarships, and programming as Castleton molds the minds of the future.

As graduates of Castleton you are also eligible to receive specialty on-campus discounts including 10 percent off at the University Store, and a buy one, get one free promotion on all Fine Arts Center performances, with a valid Castleton University Alumni Association Membership Card.

Alumni are also welcome to join the Castleton Alumni Association Board of Directors. The volunteer group is actively involved on campus fostering relationships between all members of the community, assisting with University fundraising efforts, recognizing valued Spartans for their outstanding achievements through annual awards, and creating staple programming for both current students and alumni, including the Senior Class Social, candlelighting, Homecoming & Family Weekend, and the Castleton Gala.
