What’s on JANUARY - APRIL 2025
Welcome to Castle Theatre’s 2025 Spring season.
First and foremost I wish to extend my well wishes to those who came to the venue in 2024 to show your support and to wish you all a very happy festive season and new year.
2024 was a very exciting year for Castle Theatre as it saw our busiest programming with a plethora of well known names from the entertainment industry on our stage. To be able to bring such incredible names to Wellingborough is a great opportunity for audiences who may not be able to see these acts otherwise and we plan to continue this into 2025, with another packed programme.
This Spring is showing a great range of shows, where there really is something for everyone, ranging from Giovanni: The Last Dance to An Evening with Tottenham Legends and Illusion: Impossible to The Phantoms starring Lee Mead.
Music has and always will be a firm favourite at Castle Theatre, and the spring season follows suit perfectly. Music fans can look forward to Totally Tina, The Elvis Years, Women in Rock, Twist and Shout, Diana & Lionel, The Best of Queen, Michael Starring Ben and many many more.
However, this doesn’t mean that we’ve forgotten our core comedy audiences, we have a range of rib tickling acts throughout the spring season including Milton Jones, Su Pollard, Melanie Bracewell, Clinton Baptiste, Omid Djalili and BGT’S Alex Mitchell.
In addition, 2025 marks a very special milestone for Castle Theatre, our 30th Birthday.
We will be celebrating this with our very own production of Annie (as generously sponsored by Discover Northamptonshire) as a part professional, part community mix in homage to our humble beginnings as a community theatre, opening its doors 30 years ago with a community version. If you’d like to get involved, you can find more information on pages 22- 23.
Looking at the season and year ahead, it is shaping up to be one to remember and we look forward to celebrating with each and every one of you.

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it. He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes…and there’s a bit about tomatoes.
You might know him from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo or Radio 4. Or that time he stood for the Scottish National Party, fought a hard campaign, but in the end had to respect the wishes of the people of Cardiff.
A whole new show of daftness. You know it makes sense.
