Welcome to a New Season

Hello and welcome to Castle Theatre’s Autumn season 2024.

As we say hello to a brand new and very busy season, I first want to acknowledge what summer brought us here at Castle Theatre. We saw never-before-seen shows on our stage such as Jurassic Musical Adventure and The Ladyboys of Bangkok and the feedback has been wonderful.

With the Autumn season upon us, we look to build on new and exciting shows and this transpires with visits from well known names such as Joe Pasquale, Jimmy Tarbuck, Andy Hamilton, Tommy Cannon, John Barrowman, Shaun Ryder, Kerry Ellis, Huey Morgan, Anton Du Beke, and Aled Jones, but it’s not only performers, October sees football’s very own Jeff Stelling take to our stage!

In addition to the new, we have the staples and firm favourites also returning such as Queenz, Psychic Sally, Jimeoin, Jive Talkin’ and the Imperial Classical Ballet, who are all back by popular demand and not to mention two visits from The Comedy Store.

If you’re a music fan, you are spoiled for choice this season with a diverse range of acts.

These include Bye Bye Baby, Purple Zeppelin, The Retro Rock Show, The Dolly Show, The Bon Jovi Experience, The Take That Experience, Abbamania, The Greatest Hits of Motown and The Neil Diamond Story to name a few!

And don’t think we’ve forgotten the little ones, if you’re looking to introduce your child to the theatre or just find some entertainment, we have visits from Peppa Pig, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly and The Smartest Giant In Town, and even have our very own Family Fun Day in October.

It’s never too early to get into the pantomime spirit! Make sure you ‘hook’ your tickets early and join us this December for The New Adventures of Peter Pan, our swashbuckling family adventure to Neverland!

With all of these and more, Autumn 2024 looks to be one of our most exciting and busiest seasons yet!
