Where entertainments next chapter begins
Established in 2024, CAST is a membership organisation that exists to create low-friction pathways for the discovery, trial, and adoption of new technologies across the entertainment ecosystem.

From improving fan engagement to streamlining operations, CAST bridges Builders (startups) and Buyers (industry leaders) to reshape how entertainment is delivered and experienced.
At the heart of this work is a belief that the biggest breakthroughs will come from breaking down the silos between art and sport, because in the end, we all serve the same customer: the fan.

Sound Investments: The Case for UK Music Tech
We are excited to have MTUK as our first tech organisation member. The work they’re doing in the UK market to connect, grow and support the music tech ecosystem compliments perfectly CAST’s mission to develop pathways for these companies to get in front of key buyers.
Music Technology UK is the UK’s official trade association for music tech startups, working to position the UK as a global leader in the field by fostering innovation, investment, and a supportive environment for emerging companies.
Their latest report highlights international collaboration, naming Australia as a key partner. CAST and MTUK are already building pathways for technology exchange between our two countries. Creating shared opportunities to drive the sector forward globally.
The report shows UK music tech companies attracted £360 million in investment between 2020 and 2024, but growth is slowing.
Recommendations include recognising music tech as a core creative sector, establishing a Music Tech Innovation Fund, and providing clearer AI regulation. Download the full report here
