TERMS:
The terms of the sale are cash, check or bank draft debit/credit card unless other arrangements are made in advance with the owner. Electronic payments now accepted. Settlements are to be made with the clerk of the sale immediately at the conclusion of the auction. All stock will be at buyer’s risk as soon as bidding ends, but the management will attend to loading on trucks in compliance with instructions from the purchasers.
GUARANTEE:
All cattle will sell under the suggested sale terms and conditions of the American Hereford Association.
HEALTH:
Individual health papers will be furnished with each lot sold. A number have been OCV’d. All bulls are semen tested. State regulations require all non-virgin bulls and all bulls over 24 months of age be tested for Trichonomiasis.
BIDS: The auctioneer-in-charge will have final say in regard to all final bids.
MAIL OR WIRE BIDS:
We hope each and everyone interested can attend the sale in person, but those who cannot may mail phone bids to the auctioneer or any of the representatives.
AI CERTIFICATES:
Any female that is bred to an AI sire not owned by the seller will NOT have an AI certificate furnished.
SALE ORDER:
The sale order will be as follows: bulls, open heifers, spring pair splits, fall pairs, bred heifers, bred cows and commercial females.
CATALOG ERRORS:
Statements from the auction block take precedence over printed material. The most current EPDs from AHA issued registrations were used when available. EPDs are subject to change weekly based on data submitted to the AHA. The most current EPDs are available from the AHA’s website at www.hereford.org.

A Word from the Sale Manager Welcome to the 126th semi-annual sale of the Central Missouri Polled Hereford Breeding Association. As I looked at my comments from the previous sale about the state of the cattle industry, the several adjectives that I used to describe this market, I can only add WOW!! Record highs are being achieved almost daily. Just today, Choice Box meat was over $407 cwt. 8 wt. steers over $3.50 Fats $3.80 in the meat $2.40+ Live. Slaughter Bulls at $2+ Slaughter Cows closing in on $2. New crop corn in my area around $3.50. Beef demand is still high and we all know that cow numbers are low with no great evidence of retention or expanding, what a great time to be in the cattle business. If you have plenty of forage or feedstuffs and need some cows, or if your cowherd is getting some age and need to introduce some younger females, or that next ready to use herd bull, or a younger one for you to grow up yourself. Saturday, September 20, 12-Noon will be an excellent opportunity for you to pick up some fresh genetics being offered by several of members of the CMPHBA. As always, cattle will be onsite Friday afternoon and Saturday morning for viewing or to visit with consignors, and remember the café will be open for a tasty Rodney Burger. We had this heifer in the show barn for a while but later gave up on taking a show string out that year. In May, we weaned her first calf - an outstanding herd bull prospect with a weaning weight of 724 pounds. She has a beautiful udder and teat attachment - one of the best in our herd. Her bull calf sired by Kayo 2203K. She is bred back safe to Kayo for a mid October 2025 calf. This will be an exciting female to add to your program.
