According to the ordinance, household pets, such as dogs, cats, caged rodents, non-hunting birds, small non-venomous reptiles and aquariXP ÀVK DUH SHUPLWWHG ZLWKLQ WKH FLW\ OLPLWV Livestock animals such as cattle, swine, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, mink and ermine are prohibited in city limits, as are wild and exotic animals. like alligators, snakes over 5 feet in length, and llamas.

Logansport residents will begin paying for trash pickup in a new way. Having Wabash Valley collect trash and recycling from July 2010 through June 2011 will cost the city $867,111 — and decreases in property tax revenues have led the city to begin charging residential customers through Logansport Municipal Utilities for the service. Residential LMU customers will see a charge of $11.97 per month for trash pickup on their LMU bills. Logansport Mayor Mike Fincher says the only thing about the current program that is changing is the billing — residents will still need to SXUFKDVH VWLFNHUV WR DIʝ[ WR LWHPV WRR ODUJH WR ʝW LQ WKH WRWH P ( 8 : + + County Road 300S, between 275W and 375W will be closed through at least November for road reconstruction. Access to ADM and Essroc will remain in SODFH DW WKLV WLPH YLD : 7UDIʝF ZLOO DFFHVV the Andersons from 325W via a temporary entrance at the north end of the property. No residential properties are directly affected by the 300S project. In addition to the 300S project, two separate contracts related to the Hoosier Heartland are underway. Construction will be ongoing in this general area through this year and much of 2011.
