Specialist power tool manufacturer, Festool has launched its KSC 60 cordless sliding compound mitre saw which ecompasses all the aforementioned requirements. It has removed the cable, making this handy all-rounder with Li-ion battery power and includes the latest generation brushless ECTEC motor, and as its combined with a dual battery system, it ensures maximum power that the manufacturer claims will lasts the whole day!

Also available is Festool´s battery-operated KAPEX KSC 60 is robust and yet ultra-fl exible in operationthanks to its mitre angles of up to 60 degrees on both sides and the bevel angle of up to 46 degrees (on the right-hand side) or 47 degrees (on the left-hand side). Its twin-column guide with two bearings ensures the saw blade is guided smoothly and with precision. This makes every cut perfect, without wobbles or juddering. An LED spotlight transfers the shadow of the saw blade onto the material to act as a precise cutting line, while also providing optimum visibility of the scribe mark. The KSC 60 is supplied ex-works with a dust collection bag, making it ideal for portable use.
