NEW PREMIUM BATHROOM BRAND ELISA LAUNCHES IN THE UK

Elisa has launched exclusively to approved bathroom showrooms in the UK, with its first products being new showers and a traditional mixer shower range.

Aqualisa is the parent company of Elisa, and the new luxury brand will be sold exclusively through bathroom showrooms.

Tim Creedon, sales director for Elisa, said: “Elisa has been an exciting journey to bring a bold vision to life. We have worked closely with our premium showroom customers and listened to installers and homeowners alike.

“We believe that the future of showering is not only powered by-products that provide data to the user via digital technology, encouraging new routines to reduce showering times, but also products that are engineered to last. The serviceability of our showers provides homeowners with the opportunity to make a greater impact, and for the installer, the premium products they are proud to put their reputation too.”

The Intuition and Incite digital showers offer a bespoke showering experience for the whole family as each household member can create their profile within individual settings. The settings can be changed via the ShowerMe Smart App, and it has connectivity with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

The shower can be started and set to the desired temperature via the app or from a wireless remote, or the motion-controlled proximity sensor activates the shower automatically when the user steps in. A bath fill option also ensures the bath is filled to the perfect temperature and level every time.

There are various sustainable features like the ability to see how much water is used or to set a shower duration. In addition, the dashboard gives a breakdown of each family member’s usage and the overall water being consumed daily.

NEW CEO APPOINTED AT COMPUSOFT + 2020

Joerg Jung has been appointed as chief executive officer at Compusoft + 2020 and started the new role on April 15, 2022. Jung was most recently the president and general manager of international (EMEA & AJP) and a member of the executive leadership team with software enterprise company Infor. His experience with software is extensive, and he has also worked for SAP, Deutsche Telekom’s intelligent networks and cloud business, and Unit4.

He said: “I am truly excited and honoured to be joining such an amazing team and successful company. It is very impressive what the various teams have achieved already and it will be my great pleasure to be leading the digital transformation as the innovation leader in the industry.”

Interim CEO David Tombre said: “From the outset of the merger, the goal has been to take Compusoft + 2020 to the next level, increasing the company’s global footprint and capitalizing on our position as the market leader in our space. To that end, myself and the Board of Directors felt it was imperative to find a CEO who was not only experienced in running the type of business we will become, are fitted as concealed shower units for a discreet and elegant finish. Incite is only available in chrome, while Intuition also comes in matt black or brushed brass.

The two ranges have Elisa’s SmartValve technology that allows the maximum temperature of the shower to be set for added safety, and the flow rate switched to ‘Eco’ mode to reduce water usage up to 33%.

The Valenteena (pictured top) mixer shower is traditional in its timeless design. However, it has modern features like a precise thermostatic technology to control the temperature of the water, and an automatic cut-off system, ensuring safer showering for the entire family every day.

The brassware is available as an exposed or concealed design in a choice of chrome or gold-plated finish. In addition, all Valenteena showers come with a five-year manufacturer’s guarantee.

Tombre will step down as CEO and continue as a chief operating officer focusing on critical areas of the business, including product and service deliveries.
