Begin your walk at the corner of the Jardín and Cuna de Allende to see Marquesa de Mancera - with all you want for your home décor. eady? Face La Parroquia and head to your right. On the corner, you’ll see the town founder’s statue, Fray Juan de San Miguel, across from it is the Allende House Museum. Save that for another time to learn about pre-Hispanic and Colonial Spanish history, La Parroquia will be on your left as you head down Cuna de Allende. Patronato Pro Niños. Learn more about the town’s history on the Patronato Pro Niños Walking Tour given in English from the Jardín on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m., which departs from the Jardín across from the Parroquia. The tour supports the funding of medical, dental, nutritional and psychological care for the area's less fortunate children. Tours last approximately 2 1/2 hours.
