Mika Nevalainen, Master Welder Amerim Oy

Mika, the CEO of Amerim, a company founded 70 years ago, has made a name for himself in the world of metalwork with over 23 years of expertise in design, production, and installation of demanding metal works and structures of varying scales. Mika’s passion for welding began at the age of thirteen when he first started to learn the craft of high-quality metalwork. Throughout his career, Mika has worked with a diverse range of clients, including hospitals, shopping centers, large cwonstruction companies, developers, and private family homes. Amerim, under Mika’s leadership, is well known for its unwavering commitment to quality and reliability, earning the highest AAA reliability rating in both Finland and the Nordic countries.

Despite his busy schedule, Mika is a proud family man and devoted husband and father to his wife and three children. When he’s not working on his latest project, he can be found training regularly with the Finnish Army rapid reaction stand-by unit or driving his trusty pick-up truck. Mika’s love of music is also well-known, and he can often be found singing without any kind of self-criticism. With his unmatched expertise and vision, Mika continues to push the boundaries of metalwork and inspire others with his creative approach to design and construction.

Jerry connected us with all the necessary operators to make this project become alive, and more. Mr. Hobbs felt and understood what our project was about - it was for the community we were working for, and this is what his life was about – serving the community and contributing to the community, from Vietnam to West Palm Beach. Arto Sarparanta, Welder Amerim Oy

Arto is a multi-talented trades man, welder, and fab ricator, with a diverse skill set spanning construction work, mechanics, diving, boxing, and mar tial arts. He is wellknown for his exceptional welding abilities and has a reputation for building a wide variety of steel structures, from car parts to steel buildings and bridge structures.

In addition to his work in construction and welding, Arto is a highly skilled hunter, providing food for his family and friends. He has also created largescale metal sculptures both in Finland and abroad, showcasing his artistic vision and technical expertise.

Arto’s impressive background includes serving in the Ex-Navy Special Operations Forces, where he gained invaluable experience and training. With his many talents and unique experiences, Arto is a true master of his craft, always pushing the boundaries of what is possible with metalwork.

Freddy Hennevelt, Local Artist

Freddy is a talented artist who has been creating art since a young age. His artistic journey started with the sale of a pen and ink drawing from a church in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Despite being mostly self-taught, Freddy has become a multi-faceted artist who sculpts, carves wood, paints, and photographs, with a primary focus on sculptures and paintings.

Freddy’s favorite art themes are Fantasy and Wildlife, inspired by his love for nature that comes from his hikes and camping trips in the beautiful nature parks of Europe and America. He always carries his camera and sketchbook, allowing him to capture the beauty of birds and animals on the spot.

Freddy sells his art online through Hennevelt’s Gallery website, at local art shows, and on commission. He loves connecting with people through his art and bringing joy to those who view his work.

Rocking Horse named Remy Jr. by one of the youngest participants of the Trojan Rocking Horse art workshsops for children whose artwork inspired the design of one of 8 mobile letter boxes that will march through the streets of West Palm Beech and collect dreams from the citizens.
