INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & ADVICE

CHANDELIERS

The chandelier is a dramatic decoration element that must be present in the field of vision of the multiple people in the room. As such, the visual impact is lessened if the chandelier is placed too high. We strongly recommend using a chain to avoid placing the chandelier directly against the ceiling when the height of the ceiling is more than 3 meters - 118.1 inches. We suggest, whenever possible, leaving at least 1 meter - 39.4 inches length of chain to optimally highlight a chandelier in a room. It is possible to accessorize several collections with their corresponding lampshades.

THE CHANDELIERS MAY BE HUNG THE FOLLOWING WAYS

ABOVE THE FLOOR

We advise leaving a height of 2m10 - 82.7 inches between the floor and the lowest hanging part of the chandelier (last drop or cupel) ABOVE A DINING ROOM TABLE

Ideally the diameter of the chandelier should not exceed the width of the table, nor be more than 20% smaller. We advise leaving a height of 90 cm - 35.4 inches between the table and lowest hanging part of the chandelier, to enable guests to see each other easily. If the dimensions of the table allow it, several chandeliers may be hung above it lengthwise.

ABOVE A COFFEE TABLE, A SET OF COFFEE TABLES OR A SOFA

The tables and the sofa will help limit traffic under the chandelier and thus secure the area. We recommend leaving a height of 90 cm - 35.4 inches between the tables and the lowest hanging part of the chandelier.

WALL UNITS

We advise fixing wall units at a height of 1m80 - 70.9 inches from the floor (use electrical output as a point of reference). The height may be modified depending on the room the wall unit is installed in and if it doesn't obstruct traffic.

In hallway, it is recommended to fix wall units at least 1m80 - 70.9 inches from the floor.

CEILING LAMPS

Ceiling lamps must not obstruct traffic or block vision. We recommend to hung them at a minimum distance of 2m10 - 82.7 inches above the floor if people might walk underneath. If you wish to hang several ceiling lamps, we recommend using a multiple suspension (linear or circular) canopy. If the ceiling lamps are hung above a piece of furniture, leave a 90 cm - 35.4 inches high space. If the piece of furniture is wide and access to its middle part is impossible, it is possible to install the lamps at a lower height.

INSTALLATION LEAFLET, PREREQUISITES

The attachment point must be a piton, a hook or link, and they must be locked. The attachment point must be adapted to the size of the chandelier and thus it must be able to support up to 5 times its weight, according to local regulations in force regarding fastening (the rules are different according to the space: public area, private area and in case of seismic risks). The chandelier must be hung from the attachment point using a fastener, regardless of chosen installation option.

Fastener which attaches the chandelier to the system

THREE INSTALLATION OPTIONS

1.CHANDELIER DIRECTLY STUCK TO THE CEILING

The crystal cone hides the attachment point.

2.CHANDELIER SUSPENDED WITH A VISIBLE CHAIN LENGTH

A silver-finish or gold-finish chain must be purchased separately with the chandelier.

Chain diameter varies according to the size of the chandelier.

8mm for chandeliers up to 24 Lights (maximum 246 kg - 541 lbs)

10mm for chandeliers beyond 24 Lights and up to 48 Lights (maximum 290 kg - 638 lbs) 12mm for chandeliers beyond 48 Lights and up to 84 Lights (maximum 580 kg - 1 276 lbs)

It is important to order the canopy (as well as the chain) to hide the attachment point.

3.CHANDELIER SUSPENDED WITH A CHAIN COVERED WITH A FABRIC PIECE

The chain may be covered with a fabric from the supplier of your choice. It will also hide the attachment point (a canopy is not needed).

Chain must be purchased separately.

INSTALLING FABRIC COVER

1 - Prepare a piece of fabric (silk or taffeta)50 cm/19 in x (length of chain + 80 cm/31 in).

2 - Slide the fabric through the loop at the end of the chain found at the top of the chandelier.

3 - Wrap the fabric around both sides of the loop.

4 - Pull the fabric along the whole length of the chain.

5 - Place a plastic cable tie under the piton to keep fabric in place

6 - Tighten the cable tie and pull the fabric taut

7 - Finish by wrapping the fabric around the piton like a ribbon

The Charleston collection is inspired by the 1920s, a time of splendor and prosperity. The chandeliers, candelabras and wall units are adorned with draped octagons, reminding us of the long pearl necklaces and draped dresses of the Charleston dancers. This collection is also part of the history of the Maison Baccarat and its private mansion in Paris. Indeed, Marie-Laure de Noailles, the property owner during this period, actively participated in the expansion of this movement of creation, art and renewal. The color champagne is a central element in the creation of this new collection, a color that immerses us in the splendor and atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties. Like the mythical red color of Baccarat, the color champagne is obtained by mixing gold powder and crystal.

ZÉNITH CLAIR ET ROUGE

With the Étrange Zénith collection, Philippe Starck offers a reinterpretation of the iconic Baccarat chandelier, the Zénith 24 Lights. The collaboration between the designer and the brand has led to the creation of many innovative pieces with a touch of humor. Here, Philippe Starck combines the preciousness and brilliance of crystal with the dynamic color of Murano glass. Created in collaboration with glass artist Aristide Najean, the timeless Zenith is adorned with astonishing animal heads, as if emerging from a disconcerting dream. The 2 chandeliers in the Étrange Zénith collection invite us into a bizarre world of extravagance.

This collection is composed of two chandeliers. They are based on the structure of a Zénith chandelier 24 lights in clear crystal, Baccarat's iconic masterpiece. There are 15 twisted Zenith arms topped by 15 white Zenith lampeshades . The special craftsmanship of Murano glass, renowned for its exceptional colors, makes each piece visibly different. The Zenith Sur la lagune chandelier 15 Lights Acid Yellow Deers features 3 acid-yellow deer heads in Murano glass. 18 black leaves adorned with gold leaves complete the ensemble. The Zenith Sur La Lagune chandelier 15 Lights Parrots chandelier features 3 multicolored parrots. The first is predominantly blue, the second red and the third green. In addition to these three Murano glass elements, 18 acid yellow leaves complete the composition.

Jaime Hayon reinterprets in 2020 the iconic Zénith chandelier of our Maison and brings a luxurious mix of champagne, pink and mist colors for the first model and clear crystal and blue for the second. These chandeliers take us into the wonderful world of its creator where the fantasy of the design brings joy and pleasure. A colorful, enchanting world where the boundaries between art, decoration and design disappear.

For the first chandelier, he pushes the limits of Baccarat know-how by proposing the twisted arms of the chandelier in champagne crystal. Such as the mythical Baccarat red, the champagne color is obtained through the fusion of gold powder and crystal. Until now, no chandelier in the catalog has ever combined as many colors as the Faunacrystopolis chandelier. A second clear and blue model is also available. The alternating blue and clear elements give the chandelier a special elegance and cheerfulness. The Candy lampshades in crystal enrich both models and give them a modern touch. These chandeliers will add a warm and joyful touch to any interior. They are available on order, in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

ZÉNITH FLOU

Airy and romantic, the Zénith Flou is a light reinterpretation of the iconic Zénith chandelier. Freed from its festoons of octagon, the luminaire becomes airy. The touches of pink, mist and clear colors, in clear or satin crystal, give it a romantic and poetic aspect. Philippe Starck has thought of this color variation and the arrangement of these colors to create an impression of "blur", an effect of impossible focus, generating a dizzying optical illusion.

Composed of a central column dressed in diamond beveled cut crystal and twisted arms made according to the great crystal making tradition. The strength of this chandelier lies in the richness of its ornamentation and its great diversity of colors (clear, clear satin, pink, pink satin, mist, mist satin) distributed throughout the chandelier. Composed of a central bowl, arrowed prisms alternating with festoons of octagons and reed shaped arms holding lilies and bells. Available in chandeliers from 8 to 48 lights, it will perfect a classic or contemporary interior. Pearl grey lampshades specially designed for the Zénith Flou collection can complete the chandelier.

ZÉNITH FLOU

The blurred effect of the wall unit lies in the subtle distribution of pink, mist and clear colors, and the shiny, satin effect on the crystal elements. Several installation options are available, especially with or without pearl gray lampshades.

ZÉNITH MARIE COQUINE

Created in 2011 by Philippe Starck, the Marie Coquine chandelier is one of the most original chandeliers Baccarat has ever made. This creation, full of magic and mystery, takes the customer into an enchanting universe. Indeed, the presence of the umbrella is a direct nod to Mary Poppins: "This lady is doing a magical and beautiful act, a surreal act, by rising into the air with her umbrella. I think it's a pretty nice gesture. Light is a movement. When she goes up in the air, something happens, in the range of fertile surprise" says the French designer.
The Marie Coquine chandelier is composed of a Zénith chandelier 12 lights with a white pleated fabric lampshade, topped by an ivory-colored umbrella with a chestnut wood handle made by the Cherbourg umbrella manufactory in Normandy. In 2022, it is revisited in the form of a pink floor lamp.

The Marie Coquine collection is available in a floor lamp model, this very contemporary pink and copper version brings an extra touch of poetry. Beyond being a simple light source, this floor lamp is above all a decorative object due to its large size and the diversity of elements used as a surrealist association. It is composed of a tripod mounted on wheels at the top of which is fixed a long arm of offset in a pink coppercolor at the end of which is the chandelier, Marie Coquine. This chandelier is a Zénith 12 lights with a light pink pleated fabric lampshade, topped by an umbrella of the same color with a chestnut wood handle made by the Cherbourg umbrella manufactory in Normandy. The punching bag in light pink leather, hot-stamped with the STARCK signature, is at the other end to balance. The harmony of colors and materials is a real feat of the different expertise gathered in this creation. Crystal, metal, fabric and leather play together the perfect score of wonder. This piece of design desired by collectors is limited to 50 pieces.

When the Danish designer Louise Campbell imagined the Nervous Zénith chandelier in 2013, she decided to take the opposite direction of the traditional Zénith chandelier from Baccarat. Imperfection and renewal will be the key words of her project. Her exceptional creation is full of hidden details and deliberate mistakes.

She imagines a unique chandelier, composed of 36 lights and an electric candle referring to the evolution of Baccarat chandeliers through time. The lampshades (included), white, off-white and grey, are upright or upside down while others tilt, defying the laws of gravity. She combines different colors and textures, clear crystal, pink, red, yellow or orange, passing from shiny to satin crystal, and challenges the craftsmen of the manufactory in their technique with the integration of surprises and distorted prisms. Details and inaccuracies totally assumed that show the infinite possibilities of creation with crystal. More than a luminaire, this chandelier is a work of art available in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

Associating the brilliance of crystal with the darkness of black was a daring move! In 2004, the designer Philippe Starck revisited the Zénith chandelier, an icon of Baccarat, in an all-black version, combining modernity and crystal tradition with panache. Mysterious and luminous, the obscure clarity of the color black gives this classic from our catalog a rebellious look. Identical in structure and ornamentation to the traditional Zénith chandelier, it is an antithesis to the chandeliers of our Maison known for their sparkle and light refraction. Elegantly outlining each element, the chandelier goes beyond its primary function of illuminating a room to dress it up like a work of art.

Composed of a central column dressed in diamond beveled cut crystal and twisted arms made according to the great crystal making tradition. The strength of this chandelier lies in the richness of its ornamentation composed of a central bowl, arrowed prisms alternating with festoons of octagons and reed shaped arms holding lilies and bells, all black. The black lampshades (sold separately) bring a final touch of elegance to this chandelier magnifying the light with their aluminum reflector placed inside. Available in chandeliers from 8 to 24 lights, it will perfect a classic or contemporary interior. More than just luminaires, they are true decorative objects.

ZÉNITH NOIR

H

ZÉNITH NOIR

Zénith Printemps Bleu is the result of a collaboration between Baccarat and Hong Kong designer Steve Leung. This reinterpretation of the Zenith chandelier 24 lights is an exceptional piece combining crystal and Limoges porcelain, manufactured through thirty operations. 60 pieces of the Zenith Printemps Bleu are available, to mark 60 years of commercial collaboration between France and China.

On the Zenith Printemps Bleu, the Limoges porcelain is used for bowls, balusters, cupels and 24 lampshades. It is fired twice at high and then low temperature, before being chromolithographically decorated with a cobalt-blue pigment invented in China. Similar to an ink painting, these drawings, taken from a 19th-century Baccarat archive, feature animals and flora. 9 birds can be seen through the enamelled porcelain lampshades, evoking eternity in Chinese culture. In this way, Blue Spring is an ode to nature and the beauty of this season that makes life blossom again. The prisms and drip saucers are in cobalt-blue crystal. Variable LEDs let you adjust the light intensity to suit your preferences (this feature requires adapted technology such as a dimmer switch, not supplied by Baccarat).

The Bon Jour Versailles lamp is born from the combination of three skills: Philippe Starck's imagination, Flos' expertise in lighting and Baccarat's excellence in crystal.
The crystal base is a reinterpretation of the "Versailles" candlestick, a Baccarat icon dating back to the mid-19th century, to which the LED technology of the "Bon Jour" lamp edited by Flos is associated. A combination of crystal craftsmanship and industrial lighting precision, this lamp is a bridge between tradition and modernity.

The Bon Jour Versailles lamp stands on a crystal base, reminding of the Harcourt base cut into a "flat cut" and embellished with its hexagonal button. Crowned with a chrome top, the lamp incorporates a unique and innovative LED Edge Lighting technology developed by Flos. This system, combined with an elegant lampshade in pleated ivory fabric, allows the diffusion of a warm light that reveals the spaces through infinite optical effects. As the reflection of a magical transparency, the lamp invaded by light seems to come to life from within. The light grey electric wire in braided fabric is inserted along a groove cut in the crystal piece. The lamp is available in small and large models to fit any interior.

BON JOUR VERSAILLES

CANDY LIGHT

Launched in 2011, the Candy Light collection takes us into the wonderful world of Jaime Hayon where the fantasy of design brings joy and pleasure. A colorful, enchanting world where the boundaries between art, decoration and design disappear. Inspired by Juvisy glass, created for the 1867 World’s Exhibition and still used for the great receptions held at the Elysée, the Spanish designer reinterprets this prestigious diamond-shaped pattern for his crystal lampshades. This richly cut decoration, sometimes called honeycomb because of its density, forms multiple facets allowing the light passing through to reflect the patterns into the room. Available in table lamps and wall units, this collection has become a must-have of the Maison.

The Baby Candy Light in nomadic format is available in two iconic colors: glossy Baccarat red and matte white. Between the ceramic base and the crystal lampshade, the silhouette takes shape, generous and perfect, haloed once lit by a honeycomb patterned collar. A 3-position switch button under the lamp base: ON maximum- ON medium – OFF. Once the lamp is turned on, a metal disc on the top of the lampshade enables to dim the light by a gentle and continuous touch. The LED light (2700°K, 260 lm) allows the crystal to sparkle. A black removable electric wire with 3 country-specific plug adapters is included to charge the lamp via an electrical plug. IEC is the only norm available: it covers CEI, UL, JETRO and CCC norms.

Inspired by the silhouette of some Japanese lanterns, Philippe Nigro created the Céleste collection in 2013. The designer also revisits the long beveled pattern, already existing on 19th century dinner services but which had never been used for luminaires until then. The pattern in its new version associated with the “lantern” format of the crystal piece creates optimal and beautiful refraction of light. Of an indisputable elegance, this contemporary luminaire lights up with a golden halo, easy to integrate in all rooms of your house.

Clear crystal lamp with a long beveled cut. Two sets of feet, small and large, are provided with the lamp. This modularity offers the possibility to put the lamp directly on the floor or on a piece of furniture. A transparent electric wire is present, equipped with a dimmer for the CEI and CCC versions and a switch for the UL and JETRO versions.

A historical chandelier still in the catalog, the Crinoline chandelier was created at the end of the 19th century. Directly inspired by the fashion of the time, the glassmakers of the manufactory decided to create a luminaire based on the shape of crinolines worn by women. Crinoline and its classic style evoke the famous petticoats of the Second Empire.

Today, it is one of the most exceptional luminaires in the catalog. Associating bronze with a beautiful crystal drape, it highlights various know-how of the manufacture. A set of 56 large arrowed prisms and octagons constitute the exterior clear crystal part. Inside the chandelier, a drape of crystal pearls conceals the 13 lights. Each pearl is handcrafted one by one to reveal the brilliance of the crystal and to achieve one of the ten dimensions that make up the drape. A remarkable work of the bronze on this chandelier is visible on the oval crown presenting a decoration of a frieze of interlaces. It is topped with a row of crystal laurel leaves. This structure is held by four supports in a leafy swan neck and worked, above which four large laurel leaves complete this decoration giving the chandelier all its majesty.

Imagined by Arik Levy, the Ellipse clear crystal chandelier is inspired by Baccarat's iconic Zénith chandelier. The designer proposes an oval version of great elegance and surprising lightness. The Ellipse 16-light chandelier has the scale of a Zénith 24L chandelier. This chandelier, lightened by its shiny metal tubing, is a real touch of modernity and can be integrated into any environment, from the most contemporary to the most classic. It's variable dimension tubing allows to play on the modularity and the adaptation of the height of the chandelier according to the constraints of the place in which it is installed. Its oval shape is achieved through the use of Zénith arms in varying lengths assembled on the same bowl. The central bowl in clear satin crystal illuminated by LEDs (3000°K) supports its arms. The tubing is in polished stainless steel, the canopy is in nickel-plated polished brass, and two 70 cm extensions are provided. There are two installation options for your chandelier: with or without the white fabric lampshades (sold separately).

The Fantom ceiling lamp is a poetic and aerial reinterpretation of the Zénith chandelier arm by the designer Arik Levy. This ceiling lamp was created with the aim of offering a more affordable and innovative model in a contemporary spirit of our iconic collection. Lined up above a table or a bar, placed at different heights, they create a remarkable lighting effect.
The ceiling lamp is composed of a twisted arm, the traditional prisms, octagons and hurricane holder as well as a lily present on the Zénith chandeliers. For a better harmony, the wires are grey and transparent, leaving a floating sensation in the space.

The Hic! collection revisits the codes of the Harcourt collection, famous glass created in 1841, a cult object from Baccarat, symbol of two centuries of art de vivre and perfection. In 2009, Philippe STARCK decided to transform this icon into a ceiling lamp. Reversing tradition by inverting the Harcourt glass to bring it into the modern world.

The ceiling lamp is composed of a crystal lampshade with the flat cut contours of Harcourt glass. The color is applied in a gradient: opaque at the top to hide the technical parts of the celling lamp while the gradient at the bottom reveals the volume of the crystal when the bulb is lit. The hexagonal button usually located on the base of the glass is in this creation above the lampshade. The tube is made of polished chromed brass and the canopy is made of polished stainless steel. A metallic cable adjustable in height up to 2.5 meters is included in the ceiling lamp, which allows to create sets with several celling lamps at different heights.

Created to illuminate the rooms of the first Baccarat Hotel & Residences, the Krysta lamp's timeless design highlights the purity of crystal. A reinterpretation of the Maison's iconic flat ribs, the purity of its geometric lines reveals the high precision of the craftsman's gesture and suggests power and refinement, like an obelisk of light. This piece is the result of a collaboration with the talented Parisian decorators Gilles & Boissier, who designed the interior of the Baccarat Hotel in New York.

Le Roi Soleil: an extravagant chandelier full of elegance, in the manner of its designer Marcel Wanders nicknamed the "Pope of Baroque". Designed in 2016, this chandelier is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Zénith chandelier. Aesthetically speaking, never has a chandelier in the form of an all-crystal sphere been created. The creation of the crystal lampshades, which embraces the rounded shape of the chandelier, is a technical feat without a doubt.

LE ROI SOLEIL

Composed of the traditional elements of the Zénith chandelier, Le Roi Soleil and Le Roi Soleil Ball Night are adorned with arrowed prisms, festoons of octagons, and reed shaped arms and twisted arms made in the great crystal tradition. Always in search of refinement and elegance, Marcel Wanders offers a light-hearted reinterpretation of this sumptuous chandelier with a lampshade made of pleated fabric. It echoes the delicate pleats of the toilet worn by the ladies of the court during the balls at the Château de Versailles. These chandeliers are available in 24L and 40L and will perfect your classic or contemporary interior.

Mille Nuits: a name synonymous with travel, splendor and wonder. A collection inspired by the tales of the Thousand and One Nights that made Mathias dream during his childhood. He has been working with Baccarat for 30 years, and his innovative creations help to stimulate a know-how that is two hundred years old. Today, his Mille Nuits collection is a must-have for the Maison. Combining timelessness, elegance, refinement and modernity, it is the second best-selling collection behind Harcourt. Chandeliers, large floor lamps, table lamps, ceiling lamps, ceiling units, wall units, decorative objects and tableware are available to create entire decorative styles to lead you to a beautiful journey. The Mille Nuits collection is recognizable by its beveled cut, perfect for creating a play of light and shadow that magnifies the crystal.

MILLE NUITS

MILLE NUITS MATHIAS

The timeless silhouettes of the pieces are complemented by the refinement of the beveled cut for an elegant and luminous effect. These chandeliers from 6 to 42 lights, with cups or hurricane holders, round or oval, clear or gilded will bring to your interiors an atmosphere filled with a special magic.

Each chandelier is composed of a large central beveled cut bowl. A remarkable feat of expertise by the craftsmen of the manufactory, entirely cut by wheel, this one-holding piece weights about ten kilograms. The cups or hurricane holders holding the light source are placed at the ends of solid arms. Straight and curved crystal reed shaped arms in beveled cut decorate the whole. Hexagons and prisms enhance the harmony of these chandeliers. An 18L gilded chandelier evoking the splendors of the palaces of the Thousand and One Nights is available: all visible metal parts of this chandelier are gilded with yellow gold. The "gilt" metallic finish on the crystal is obtained through an evaporation process.

A wall unit adds an ideal touch of elegance in an entrance hall, a living room or a bright punctuation in a corridor. Used with a dimmer, it will create an atmosphere of intimacy from the moment you enter the house. A timeless and enchanting atmosphere that can be adapted to any environment. Several possibilities are available to you, the "classic" wall units with 1 to 5 lights, the Flambeau wall unit, the Torchère wall unit and the Tulipe wall unit. The "classic" wall units are based on the elements of the chandeliers: fully in of beveled cut crystal, they are composed of a half-bowl, which décor magnifies the light, holding the full crystal arms and straight and curved reed shaped arms with pendants. The Flambeau wall unit is generously dressed in beveled clear crystal and topped with a pleated fabric lampshade. The central part ends with a red hexagonal pendant carrying the Baccarat and Mathias signatures and a clear prism, reminding the Mille Nuits chandeliers.

The Torchère and the Tulipe wall unit are composed of a beveled crystal cup, identical to the cups of the chandeliers and the Mille Nuits ceiling lamps. The first one perfects its style with a crystal stem, while the second one offers an additional feature: the cup can be rotated 180° so that the light beam is directed towards the ceiling or the floor.

MILLE NUITS

MILLE NUITS

The timeless style of the Mille Nuits lamp enables it to fit in different decorative atmospheres. It uses the same aesthetic vocabulary as the chandeliers, candelabras and wall units of the collection. The central tubing, in polished stainless steel with a mirror finish, is fully covered with in beveled cut crystal and the light plays with the transparency of the crystal in the upper drip saucer. The lamp is topped with a pleated textile lampshade and has a transparent wire and switch.
The Mille Nuits reading lamp uses the same aesthetic vocabulary as the chandeliers, candelabras and wall units in the collection, including the clear beveled crystal. Its balanced proportions and its height of one meter forty-six contribute to elegantly punctuate the space of a bedroom, living room or office. The central tubing, in polished stainless steel with a mirror finish, is fully covered with beveled cut crystal, and the light plays with the transparency of the crystal in the upper drip saucer. The reading lamp is topped with a pleated textile lampshade and has a transparent wire and switch.

Two candelabras measuring almost two meters high, complete this collection. The candelabras, historical pieces of the Maison, have been redesigned by Mathias to meet the aesthetic codes of Mille Nuits. They are composed of two clear beveled cut crystal cups, each 40 cm in diameter, one enlightened on the top part and one upside down on the base. The full crystal arms, the straight and curved reeds are also beveled cut. The hurricane holders version gives maximum opulence and richness to this monumental piece. The tubing made of polished stainless steel is covered with beveled clear crystal tubes. We also find the ornaments of the chandeliers: the hexagons and prisms. The base is in chromed steel, the electric wire is black. An electronic dimmer is added for the CEI and CCC versions and a switch for the UL and JETRO versions.

The New Antique collection, unveiled in 2014, has been extended with masterful pieces to celebrate Baccarat's 260th anniversary. It is designed by Marcel Wanders, a Dutch designer with whom the brand has enjoyed a collaboration rich in imagination and innovation for over 15 years. Monumental vase, modular chandeliers, candlestick..., New Antique echoes the masterpieces Baccarat has proposed during the great universal exhibitions. This collection shows exceptional pieces born of the rich savoir-faire of the Manufacture's craftsmen.

The New Antique lights are delicate, modular proposals, adaptable to any interior. The purity and brilliance of crystal are enhanced by enchanting cutting and designs that are both timeless and avant-garde. From chandeliers to ceiling and nomadic lamps, New Antique invites you to dream in a world of contrasts, elegance and light.

NEW ANTIQUE

Like a suspended dream, imbued with elegance and modernity, the clochettes of New Antique chandeliers dance in the air, revealing a sphere of comfortable light. Thanks to a large mirrored top cover, New Antique chandeliers are easy to install yet feature several crystal clochettes. The small 3-light model features 3 small clear crystal clochettes. The Medium 6-light chandelier features 4 small clochettes and 2 medium-sized clochettes. The large 10-light model features 5 small clochettes, one of which is a clochette doubled in red, Baccarat’s signature color obtained with 24-carat gold powder, 2 medium clochettes and 2 large clochettes. Variable LED bulbs allow you to adjust the light intensity to suit your preferences (this feature requires adapted technology such as a dimmer switch, not supplied by Baccarat). Cables suspending the clochettes can vary from 25 cm to 250 cm in length (1 electric cable for small clochettes, 1 electric cable and 1 rope for medium and large clochettes). New Antique chandeliers allow you to create unique compositions by playing with the height of the clochettes, so they can be adapted to your every desire.

Inspired by the clochette of Baccarat's emblematic chandeliers, these ceiling units are imbued with enchantment and lightness. Adorned with the New Antique cut motif, they multiply light in a symphony of sparkling reflections. The diffuser spreads light indirectly, creating a warm, visually comfortable ambience. With its satin-effect sphere that appears inside the clochette, its design represents the perfect balance between modernity and refinement. The variable LED bulb (G9) lets you adjust the light intensity to suit your preferences (this feature requires adapted technology such as a dimmer switch, not supplied by Baccarat). 3 sizes are available: small, medium and large. Thanks to a cable that can vary from 25cm to 250cm in length (1 electric cable for the small model, 1 electric cable and 1 cord for the medium and large models), these ceiling units can be adapted to any ceiling height. Thus, you can create unique arrangements by combining different ceiling units. The canopies are removable, allowing them to be taken down to conceal the electrical system inside a false ceiling with the help of a professional.

Inspired by the iconic New Antique vase whose base has been reworked, the table consists of three parts: the returned deeply cut New Antique vase in clear crystal, the base and the table top in white Carrara marble. The table works with a battery and a micro-USB charger to be inserted under the marble plate. Two batteries are included with the table. The second battery ensures the continuous functioning of the table. It is lit by LEDs (2700K) located at the bottom of the structure.

Inspired by
Maison's codes, interior architect and designer Stéphanie Coutas dared to mix elements from emblematic collections: the Zénith Diamond Beveled décor, the twisted upside-down arms of the Solstice and the Straight Beveled décor of the Mille Nuits. This chandelier is a subtle alliance of modernity and icons inherited from the past. Unprecedented in its dimensions, Paris is a chandelier of great magnitude, which extends in width, and does not require a great height under ceiling. The chandelier offers a new occupation of space, particularly adapted to contemporary environments. A real privilege, adapted to today’s art de vivre.

This chandelier of great crystal value is composed of satellite arms that allow it to extend horizontally, twisted arms, hurricane holders, chromed metal sleeves and the traditional octagons and prisms below which is a Mille Nuits bowl. The chandelier is available in two sizes: 24L and 36L. Initially offered as a special order, the 36-light chandelier, and then the 24L chandelier, will integrate the catalog in 2017 and 2019; changes in height or the addition of colored octagons are always possible as special orders.

The Solstice chandelier is a classic in our catalog, inspired by the chandelier models manufactured during the second half of the 19th century. It asserts its originality thanks to the particular inclination of its arms directed downwards. These curved arms give an organic feel to the chandelier, reminding of a weeping willow or a bouquet of lily of the valley. The little bells delicately scattered at the end of the arms and reed arms give an impression of lightness.

The Solstice chandeliers are composed of hollow crystal arms and curved reed shaped arms, both twisted, symbol of the manufacture’s excellent know-how. Bowl, cones, baluster, hurricane holders and bells are made in diamond beveled cut crystal. A great decorative richness due to the assortment of arrowed prisms, festoons of octagons and clappered bells which complement the set for a breathtaking result. The light emitted by the bulbs, elegantly concealed by a drape of octagons and prisms, highlights the crystal bells of the lower decorative reed shaped arms for a striking effect from below. On the larger models, the distribution of decorative elements and light upwards and downwards allows the space to be occupied at full height, perfect for rooms with high ceilings.

SOLSTICE

Designed by Arik Levy, the Torch collection is a classic creation revisited: the classic Zénith chandelier’s arm is combined with contemporary materials to create a product in line with the codes of contemporary design. The complex know-how of the twisted bamboo arm is reinvented in a straight line and meets the sparkle of the shiny metal, a touch of modernity and extra light.
With a revisited Zénith chandelier arm in a straight way and its drip saucer decorated with octagons and prisms, the Torch ceiling lamp takes up the classic codes of Baccarat luminaire. For a more ornamental effect, it is possible to position groups of several ceiling lamps at various heights or to align them over a dinig-room table or a bar.
Delicately set on a mirror polished nickel plated brass plate, the wall unit features a handmade twisted straight arm, hurricane holders, octagon embellished drip saucer and clear crystal arrowed prisms. A white pleated lampshade is included. A black, white or red decorative tassels adds a light touch to the wall unit and can be changed as desired.
Set on a mirror polished nickel plated brass base, the lamp features a hand twisted straight arm, a hurricane holders, a drip saucer decorated with clear crystal octagons and arrowed prisms. The lamp is topped by a white pleated lampshade. The lamp has a transparent electric wire with a light dimmer for the CEI and CCC versions and a switch for the UL and JETRO versions.
Modern and discrete, this floor lamp can be integrated into both classic and contemporary environments. Standing on a mirror polished nickel plated brass base, the floor lamp features a hand twisted straight arm, hurricane holders, drip saucers decorated with clear crystal octagons and arrowed prisms. The floor lamp has a transparent electric wire with an electronic dimmer for the CEI and CCC versions and a switch for the UL and JETRO versions.

In a contemporary style Arik Levy reinterprets the Zénith chandelier with curved arms, hand twisted in three dimensions. The crystal seems to dance around the central metal tube. A real technical feat, by effect of twist and torsion, the six arms redesign the silhouette of the iconic chandelier. The Tourbillon 6-light chandelier has the same scale as a Zénith 12L chandelier. Its aesthetics and its volume are variable depending on the position of the arms and the choice of the lampshades. Its modularity and the dynamism of its design are major assets. Tourbillon integrates into all styles from the most contemporary to the most classic.

The only chandelier in the catalog with adjustable arms that can be moved closer together or further apart, thus varying the diameter of the chandelier from 72 to 87 cm. A central bowl in satin-like crystal illuminated by LEDs (3000°K) supports its arms. The tubing is in polished stainless steel, the canopy is in nickel-plated polished brass and two 70 cm extensions leads are provided. Lampshades in white pleated fabric with a wide diameter of 30 centimeters have been specially designed for this chandelier and are sold separately.

TUILE DE CRISTAL

Rich from his long years of collaboration with the Maison, Arik Levy designed in 2013 a "revolutionary" collection for Baccarat luminaires. Resolutely contemporary, the Tuile de Cristal collection is based on a concept of modules, the tuile (or tile) – made of crystal - for compositions of variable geometry.

The tile is available in two designs that combine history and modernity. The Piccadilly style is inspired by the Piccadilly glassware set that is part of the Maison's heritage. This classic style blurs the interior light system thanks to its full surface design. The Frozen style, more contemporary, is recognizable on the front and back of the crystal. The seemingly random striations are designed for optimal sparkle. From wall units to monumental chandeliers, Arik Levy creates designs where the light from inside the luminaire shines through the tiles and makes the crystal shine. The pure and elegant shapes of the lights are accompanied by the sparkle of the material, for a breathtaking effect.

Two sizes of wall units are available, small and large size, in Piccadilly or Frozen styles. The lightplays with the mirror and the pattern of the tiles: the material sparkles and bursts of light appear on the wall. The small Tuile de Cristal wall unit is composed of 8 tiles on two levels. As for the large model, it is composed of 30 tiles on five levels. Interior structure in mirror polish for an "invisible" effect.
