To qualify for resident rates an individual must reside within the boundaries of the Cary Park District. Residents support the Park District through tax dollars. While boundaries of other taxing bodies in the community are different, you may confirm whether you are a Cary Park District resident by looking at your tax bill under the taxing bodies you support.

Foxford Hills Golf Club features 18 distinctly spectacular holes, a bright and airy wellstocked pro shop, tasty bar-and-grill fare in our restaurant, and friendly, attentive customer service. The course has matured beautifully since its opening in 2002 and is heralded as a must-play in the Chicagoland area. Driving Range

The driving range is open throughout the year weather permitting. Hours are Monday - Sunday, dawn until 10:00 pm. Lights turn on at dusk. The driving range is closed Monday from 9:30 am - 2:00 pm for driving range maintenance. Range balls can also be purchased directly at the machine using a major credit card.

2025 Season Pass Program

For those avid golfers looking to play a lot of golf, purchase a season pass at Foxford Hills. Both 7-day and 5-day passes are available with the best price on the market. Price includes golf and cart. Junior cart restrictions apply for those golfers who are under the age of 16. A valid driver’s license is required. Make your purchase at the pro shop.

Weekend Permanent Tee Times for 2025

Make Foxford Hills Golf Club your home for the 2025 golf season. Our permanent tee time program runs 21 weeks on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6:00 - 8:30 am. Permanent tee times begin the weekend of April 12 and 13 and end the weekend of September 6 and 7.

Tee Time Reservations

Tee times may be made thirty (30) days in advance with a major credit card. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Dress Code

Attire must be in keeping with the standards of the sport. Attire not permitted includes, but is not limited to, bathing suits, cutoffs, and sandals. Foxford Hills Golf Club is a non-metal or soft spike facility.

Pace of Play

Players are to maintain the pace of play guidelines established by the Club. The average pace of play at Foxford Hills Golf Club is 4 hours 30 minutes.

For parties and formal functions, Foxford Hills Golf Club offers a club atmosphere that is perfect for groups of up to 75 guests. Whether you select buffet style, family style or a custom package, our staff will do all the work so you can enjoy your day. Possible events include rehearsal dinners, showers, breakfasts, luncheons, casual dinners, business meetings, corporate events and golf outings.

Host your next event at the Cary Park District

Cary Park District facilities and picnic shelters are available for rent for bridal and baby showers, holiday, birthday and anniversary parties, reunions, luncheons, seminars, trainings, and business meetings. They are also perfect for summer picnics and outings. Alcohol may be served with a permit and an additional fee.

Community Center

The Community Center offers eight rooms that can accommodate smallto-medium-sized groups. A warm and welcoming environment, along with friendly staff set the stage for any event. Additional amenities including a kitchen, PA system, and AV rental are also available. The Community Center also offers free WiFi.

Oak Room

$10 - $75/hour

As the largest room in the Community Center, the Oak Room, can seat up to 200 guests with auditorium seating and 100 guests with table seating. Great for parties and trainings, the Oak Room is located on the main floor, has kitchen access, and is outfitted with audiovisual equipment.

Also available for rent are the Ivy Senior Room and the Dance Studio. $10 - $40/hour

Hickory Room

$10 - $40/hour

The Hickory Room can accommodate up to 30 guests. This room features a tile floor, outdoor views, and is adjacent to a restroom.

Maple & Birch Rooms

$10 - $40/hour

These two rooms can accommodate up to 40 guests each. The Maple Room is carpeted and the Birch Room has a tile floor.

Picnic Shelter, Bandshell, and Athletic Field Rentals

Jaycee Park Picnic Shelter

The shelter is available for rent from 9:00 am to dusk between the first weekend in May and the end of September. The shelter contains picnic tables and garbage cans. Electric is available upon request. Washroom facilities are also available.

R/NR Fee = $50 - $100 per rental

Kaper Park Picnic Shelter

This shelter is available for rent Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to dusk and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 - 8:00 pm. The shelter has 8 picnic tables and garbage cans. Electric is available upon request. Restrooms are available adjacent to the shelter. R/NR Fee = $100 - $200 per rental

Lions Park Picnic Shelters

Three shelters are available for rent from 9:00 am to dusk between the first weekend in May and the end of September. Each shelter has a solid roof, picnic tables, garbage cans, and electric. Portable washroom facilities are located within the park.

R/NR Fee = $50 - $200 per rental

Security deposits are applied to all shelter rentals.

Lions Park Rotary Bandshell

The bandshell has a covered stage with electrical hookup capability that is available upon request. Lawn seating is available on the adjacent hill. Portable washroom facilities are available within the park. The security deposit listed above also applies to the bandshell rental.

Athletic Fields and Courts

Soccer fields and baseball/softball fields are located at different park sites. Lights are available on certain fields for an additional fee.

Fitness Center

A membership to the Fitness Center provides you with access to the cardio and strength rooms. All members must bring their pass and scan in each time they use the Fitness Center.

Fitness Center Usage Policy

Members must be 15 years or older to use the Fitness Center. Youth ages 15 - 17 years old must have the signed consent from a parent or guardian to use the Fitness Center. Persons 55 years and older may receive the senior membership rate.

No matter what your current level of fitness is, a personal trainer can help you reach your goals. Whether it’s to lose weight, tone up, improve your health, or gain sport-specific improvement, a trainer can help design a program to meet your needs.

A fitness assessment is required before signing up for a personal training session. All personal training packages expire 6-months from the date of purchase.

Fitness Assessment

A fitness assessment is a confidential all-inclusive review of your current health and fitness levels. A certified trainer will meet with you to review your cardiovascular fitness, body composition/body fat percentage, flexibility, blood pressure and muscle strength/endurance. The trainer will discuss the results with you.

A fitness assessment is required before signing up for a personal training session. After registration, you will be contacted by a personal trainer to schedule an appointment.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga that involves holding grounded, passive poses to increase mobility and reduce stress. In this class participants will focus on relaxing muscular effort and stretch deep into the connective tissues of the body. Yin Yoga emphasizes deep relaxation and mindfulness and is designed to increase flexibility and promote joint mobility.It contrasts with more active styles of yoga, offering a calming and restorative practice that balances the body’s energy. RowFit™ combines the low-impact and endurance benefits of exercises such as swimming with the strength and resistance benefits of weight training all in one 60-minute workout. Using Concept2 RowErgs combined with a variety of bodyweight, isometric, and weight circuits, these sessions will meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Whether you are ready to push yourself to your limits, or need to ease in more slowly, the variety of steady fat burning workouts and higher intensity strength focused workouts will give you a lot to look forward to in each 6-week session. New! Intro to Hula Hoop Tricks

Unlock your playful side during this hula hoop workshop – no experience needed! Each workshop will cover three unique tricks, both on and off the body. With personal guidance, time to practice, and fun modifications, you’ll build confidence, flow, and freedom in every spin. A hoop will be provided for the class. MixxedFit® is a dance fitness program that combines explosive movements with bodyweight toning. MixxedFit’s mission is to bring the people together through fitness while serving the community.

This mat-based workout is designed to engage the mind and work the entire body. Fluid movements will develop core strength plus, increase flexibility while improving balance and posture. All levels welcome.

Senior Strong

This fun class consists of a series of age appropriate moves to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and agility. Enjoy camaraderie with your peers while getting fit and improving your health. Anyone over 55 years of age is welcome. Must be able to stand without assistance.

STRONG

Sculpt all muscle groups using a variety of equipment. Gain balance, core, and strength and leave each class feeling strong. All levels welcome.

Yoga

Increase awareness of your mind and body as well as your overall physical fitness. This class focuses on the classic poses, building on the basics with emphasis on alignment of the standing, sitting, and twisting poses. Detailed instruction helps you achieve each pose for all levels. All levels welcome.

Yoga for All

Reduce stress and build a healthier body! This class includes Hatha yoga postures, techniques, and sequences for flexibility, strength, postural alignment, increased energy, and overall health. This class is a drop-in class. Registration is not required. Please pay the R/NR drop in fee of $10/$15 at the front desk before each class. Yoga Sculpt

This yoga-based workout is a mix of strength training and yoga to improve flexibility, mental clarity, and endurance. By combining yoga with light hand weights and other props, this workout will help increase lung function, strengthen bones, and build muscle.

Zumba® & REFIT® Min/Max: 3/10

Take the “work” out of the workout for this combined class. If you love to dance, this is a great class for you. Enjoy the Latin inspired music of Zumba and your favorite pop music for the REFIT portion. This fun, party atmosphere workout wil torch calories while dancing to upbeat music!

Zumba® & Zumba® Toning Min/Max: 3/10

This workout is perfect for those who want to party but will also put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! We will add lightweight maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance your sense of rhythm and coordination while toning target zones, including arms, core, and lower body for 30 minutes of the class. The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

This program provides activities such as art, music, circle time, manipulatives, and dramatic play to enhance your child’s independence through learning. No class 11/26.

Holiday Craft Adventure

Age 3 - 5 years with parent/caregiver CF Join Miss Carol for a morning of crafting! We will be making holiday ornaments with a variety of materials to foster creativity and fine motor skills. The finished ornaments will serve as cherished reminders of the holiday season and the joy of crafting together!

Our Program Goals

l Provide opportunities to explore, play, experiment, and problem solve through teacher-directed and student-initiated activities based on curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards.

l Promote a child’s sense of individual worth and belonging as part of a group and community.

l Create a language, math, and science-rich environment that understands and meets the developmental needs of each child social-emotionally, physically, and intellectually through literature, cooperative learning, and dramatic play.

The philosophy of the Cary Park District Preschool is to create a positive, sensitive, and responsive environment to help children feel valued and grow with each learning experience. Through developmentally appropriate activities, we foster physical, social-emotional, and cognitive growth while promoting a lifetime love of learning.

l Establish parent communication through daily conversations, conferences, and progress reports encouraging a home to school connection through nurturing positive relationships

l Promote awareness of the larger community with visitors and field trips. Field trips and guest visitors are planned to extend your child’s learning experiences, enhancing their understanding of their environment, their community, themselves, and the world around them through hands on discovery and exploration.

l Follow the guidelines for kindergarten readiness skills and Illinois Early Learning Standards.

Registration

Registration for the 2025/2026 School Year

Registration for the 2025/2026 school year is currently open and accepted online and at the Community Center. A $70 nonrefundable registration fee and the first month’s tuition are due at the time of registration. A multiple child discount is available. All children must be toilet trained and independent in the bathroom (no pull ups).
