CARVOEIRO BRANCO AND ANTRIX ANNOUNCE THE PURCHASE OF ANOTHER CORK FACTORY IN SILVES
Carvoeiro Branco and Antrix, Algarve-based real estate developers, have announced the acquisition of a second former cork factory in the city of Silves Fábrica Bento Augusto Monteiro strengthening their presence in the city and deepening their commitment to the revitalization of the urban center and the enhancement of local industrial heritage
This new investment follows the work begun with the acquisition of the emblematic Fábrica do Inglês and is part of a broader urban regeneration strategy focused on the recovery of buildings with significant historical and symbolic value for the region

The specific project for this unit is currently in the technical survey phase and will be presented at a later stage The developers, however, reinforce their intention to continue a sensitive approach that respects the history of the site and aligns with the contemporary needs of the city, namely through a residential housing project that is greatly needed in the Algarve region
