For more than a decade, Professor Kevin Crosby and Carthage students have partnered with NASA and leading companies to solve problems in the aerospace industry. They’re developing technology that could be key to the next generation of spacecraft and commercial jetliners.

Students from the Carthage Microgravity Team go weightless to test their promising research. Next stop for the team’s propellant gauging project? The International Space Station.

Carthage is the lead institution for the NASA Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium, which supports students across the state through scholarships, research opportunities, and internships. Ten of our own students have earned highly competitive NASA center internships in the past three years.

My Job in 6 Pics Originally a music major, tessa rundle ’16 changed her major to physics, joined Carthage’s space sciences program, and soon had more time in zero-g than any student who had flown before her. commuters New students who live within 30 miles or meet other criteria can opt out of Carthage housing. Commuters can get much of the full college experience by using the facilities, joining clubs, using meal points at campus eateries, and introducing friends to local hotspots. There’s even a seat reserved for commuters in Student Government to ensure they have a voice.
