“We Must Let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” -Joseph Campbell
Throughout this play, there are times when our characters’ lives don’t go as planned. Our two characters must learn to let go of the life they had planned in order to find joy in the unexpected. Holding on to the past is almost never a good thing, and we must remind ourselves not to get stuck on the what-ifs. This touching story reminds us that sometimes, the best thing to do is to let life take its course and remember that things tend to work out even in the most unexpected ways. We may not always like it, but more often than not, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
