program Hindsight is… dare I say it? I probably shouldn’t. It’s become such a dirty word. Alright, alright. I’ll spell it out. Two-Zero-Two-Zero. See? That wasn’t so hard! We can look back on the year like it was an awful pile of garbage, OR we can see all the amazing things that we learned from it! Like how to bake bread from scratch, or connecting with nature by keeping a garden and growing your own food, or seeing how long you can go without showering to prove a point to your significant other. These are the memories we will be talking about for years to come. Don’t get stuck in the past. Stop, reflect, and move forward.

performer biography Bree Beelow is a Graduate Student at Carthage College who will be completing her degree in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy. She is also a proud AEA member and performs in the Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL areas.

Bree has always known she wanted to pursue a career in performance as well as education. She is so excited to take this next step in her life. Pre-pandemic, you may have seen her play the “child-like yet strong” character Marie Antoinette in The Revolutionists at Next Act, or in Elf The Musical at First Stage in Milwaukee, WI. Bree is so excited to share her one woman show with all of you. The pandemic hit everyone hard, especially artists. You truly are a rockstar. John, you have always believed in me, even when I haven’t believed in myself. You helped me build back my confidence, and I appreciate you so much. Elena, I thought I had lost my legit sound before coming to grad school. If it wasn’t for you, I would still be stuck in my old habits. I am so thankful for your knowledge and guidance throughout this year. To my cohort: WE DID IT. <3 hands. Linda, thank you for being someone to lean on as well as learn from. I appreciate everything that you have done for me, and I know I am a better artist because of you. Finally, Corinne. Words cannot describe how much you have impacted my life. From undergrad to grad school, you have made me into the human I am today. I am so thankful for everything you have done for me, and I will never be able to repay you.
