We all know the importance of votingdon’t we? Do you vote? Do you vote in every election. First, we want to encourage you to vote in every election. Voting is not only a “Right” but it is also a privilege.

Each year Mrs. Henderson and team organizes the David W. Carter “Voting Day”. Here, our Seniors get the opportunity to learn about voting and they also get the opportunity to register to vote.

Registering to vote and vote is a vital part of graduating from high school, turning 18, and becoming an adult. The students were so focused and amazed as they learned about the history behind being able to vote in our community. The consensus in the room - we will for sure take the time to vote during every election.
