JUNIOR GIANTS Carson City Parks and Recreation and the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada are partnering together to offer this amazing program, sponsored by the San Francisco Giants. Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive, coed baseball program designed to reach into communities and offer youth the chance to learn the basics of baseball during the summer, while discovering the importance of self-esteem and respect. This will be a freestyle competition where participants receive three 40 second runs to put together their best lines and biggest tricks. The skate park will be lighted for the later portions of the competition after dark. After each run, participants will be judged by experienced skating pros from the Wheelhouse, and the winner of each category will receive a prize!
