How do you publish new reviews and videos when a public health crisis prevents your team from conducting vehicle tests?

One of our answers is to embrace the consistency of CarsGuide’s vast bank of existing reviews, and use them as ingredients to construct new comparison tests that were already on our to-do list. Most of our team members have conducted numerous tests of competing models in recent times, all to the same detailed test criteria, so we’ve found it simpler and more valuable than you might imagine to combine appropriate individual tests into comparisons. While it’s easy to combine the findings and still imagery of two written reviews, the splicing of two video reviews takes more planning. Careful use of voice-over to link pieces of existing footage into one cohesive narrative is the process in a nutshell, and our audience is finding great value in the examples we’ve already published.
