We’ve rediscovered the joy of reading these last two years. Kindles have their place, but you can’t beat turning the pages of an unputdownable book! Browse beautiful cloth bound classics such as Watership Down, Tender is the Night or Daphne Du Maurier’s Rebecca, or modern masterpieces such as C J Sansom’s Shardlake Series. There are specialist sections for history, gardening or cooking. And a wonderful choice for children –you’re never too young to read! We also run a FREE book exchange in reception. Prices from £6.

We have a trick that we like to pull in the summer. Pop a couple of our More (rose), Lavender or Wisteria candles in the garden and your friends will think you have the BEST smelling garden ever!
