SONG OF THE WEST | CARRIE FELL
unrestrained... original works with colors limited only by the bounds of imagination… light and dark… a dash of the unexpected.
This collection, “Song Of The West,” celebrates the freedom where the endless Western horizon meets the open sky, and the place in between where Cowboys and Birds share an innate wanderlust … seeking vast territories and venturing far and wide.

For over 25 years, Carrie Fell has captivated collectors, galleries, and enthusiasts with her highly contemporary depictions of the West. Whereas many artists may not gain recognition during their lifetime, Carrie Fell’s originals are permanently displayed in renowned museums across the country, solidifying her status as one of the foremost contemporary artists of her era. Every piece by Carrie Fell is unique yet unmistakably part of an ongoing narrative.
Carrie drew inspiration from her experiences as a Colorado native and Western influences for her iconic portrayals of cowboys, riders, and bar scenes. As her hometown of Denver has evolved, so have her subjects and the mediums through which she expresses these changes. Whether through the quintessential materials of the Old West, sophisticated abstracts of DESIGNLINE, the nostalgic mood of
MODERN SOCIAL, or the dynamic NEON COWBOYS, Carrie’s work remains classically elegant yet highly contemporary. Her art does not attempt to portray a Western lifestyle, but rather an illusion that allows viewers to write their own stories in faceless images and abstract settings. Her art resonates deeply with audiences, drawing them back time and again with its emotion, movement, shapes, lines, colors, and textures, inviting viewers into a captivating story that unfolds on canvas. Few artists achieve such enduring appeal throughout their careers; Carrie Fell has always had this connection.
From her earliest accolades and inclusion in prominent galleries and museums, through the numerous commissioned works, and the publication of her book, The ART of CARRIE FELL, Carrie has continually evolved and sought new ways to connect with her audience, always delivering an experience that is authentic, accessible, and personal.
