YOUTH ATHLETIC LEAGUE FAQ'S
Playing Up
Meet and Greet
The meet and greet is a set time where players, parents and coaches meet each other and hand out any necessary information and in some cases receive their uniforms
Player Evaluations
Players get rated based on each skill set for that particular sport for the draft/team placement. Drafts are typically for ages 10U and above. All players are encouraged to attend.
Placed on a Specific Team
Due to the nature of the program, we cannot accept any coach, player or carpool requests. However, one mutual friendship request is honored for players in any youth sports league for 2nd grade/8U and younger along with youth volleyball. Request deadlines are the same as registration deadlines (not an early bird).
FRIENDSHIP REQUEST
Registrations Deadlines
Players placed on a waitlist are not guaranteed placement on a team. Team placement will only be done when a team is below the established maximum number of participants. Players will not be added to any team one week prior to the first scheduled game. With programs that provide uniforms there could be a delay in getting your uniform in on time.
Playing up is not allowed for instructional soccer or tee-ball. For all other leagues, playing up is allowed by one age or grade level. Any player seeking to play up must get permission from the league supervisor prior to registration. Any participant playing up must also register in person.
Parent Code Conduct
By registering your child you agree to comply with the Parent Code of Conduct.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsor your child's team - Contact Community Relations: Pam Falco for sponsorship and advertising opportunities. pamf@csparks.org or 630-784-6123.
