Thank you to the Scouts
Given that The Link is intended to provide the local community with the latest information from Carnoustie, we couldn’t be happier to work alongside other local groups.
We want to hear from you!

QVAS Ceremony
We were honoured to welcome members and volunteers of Carnoustie Memories to Links House in November to commemorate a momentous occasion – handing over the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to founder of the memory loss charity, Lorraine Young.

Lord Lieutenant for Angus, Pat Sawers, proudly handed over the award in a wonderful celebration of the commitment and hard work undertaken by the volunteers, carers and members of the foundation.
The Rookery provided a celebratory Afternoon Tea for all attendees of the awards ceremony.
The local Scouts group has been a fantastic support for us and have done a wonderful job of delivering The Link to the c. 6,000 households within our outreach area. We are delighted to be able to contribute funds to the group as payment for their hard work.
