This ADVANCE project leverages the expertise and resources of its Executive Steering Committee, a partnership of 12 academic organizations and professional societies, and strategically draws on the knowledge and insights gained from, but not limited to, prior NSF-ADVANCE projects. Each of the following partners brings significant track records of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM, and will be actively engaged in the implementation of the project’s activities. They will also disseminate the policies, best practices, case studies, research, and other successes that result from this project.

We hope you enjoy the conference and do not get too distracted by the beach right outside! The ADVANCE program office is looking forward to learning about the impacts of the ADVANCE-funded THRIVE Partnership award over the next few years. Your award’s focus on supporting Latinas in STEM by improving the culture of the STEM departments represents an important part of the ADVANCE portfolio. As you know, workplace settings are one of the most influences on STEM faculty satisfaction and retention. In the spirit of the award – we hope you have a psychologically healthy conference and do get some beach time in between the awesome sessions!
