Tofield had a busy weekend with the Winterfest in town and ‘Stuff the Bus’, followed by a virtual ‘Lighting of the Tree’ and fireworks. Given that it was held within a pandemic, a few events were modified, while some others were cancelled, such as the ‘Festival of Trees’. However, that did not dampen the spirit of community members as ‘Stuff the Bus’ event raised $6,400, which includes

the match up that Dave Hare traditionally does. “It was once again very successful, and we had additional cash donations from the community with about 250 pounds of food,” said Vanita Eglauer, Recreation/Facilities Coordinator at the Town of Tofield. “Thank you to everyone for their continued support of this event, and the Christmas Hampers.
