Tofield 4-H hosts Achievement Day Tofield 4-H Beef and Multi Club award effort and hard work

MOUSH JOHN Editor

The Tofield 4-H Beef and Multi Club hosted their Achievement Day on Saturday, April 16, awarding members for their contributions and efforts. “We had a cold and snowy day at the Tofield rodeo grounds but it was a day of fun and all the kids did an amazing job of showing their animals,” said Kim Knudsen, spokesperson for the

Tofield 4-H Club. “Achievement Day gives them the opportunity to show their projects to their families and community. And it allows them to show all the work that they have put in throughout the year.” The Tofield 4-H Beef and Multi Club, which has been running since 1949 hosts their Achievement Day every year. Knudsen said that 4-H organizations are often the foundation which spur small town kids into

a bigger stage, teaching them many skills. Tofield’s motto is ‘Learn to do by Doing’. The club has expanded over the years to having multiple projects including beef, ewe, lamb, goat, and chickens. With 22 members, the club members are engaged in various activities including public speaking, fundraising, monthly meetings as well shows and sale.

Club members take 4-H pledge.
