The Killam Krossing Hotel recently upgraded its A/C and heating units to a larger size to accommodate the front concession and offices within the building. The upgrade proved to be exceptional timing with above average summer heat continuing to plague western Canada. The roof unit was installed with the skilled crane work of Becky from BeDevil. RCMP pleased as recent check stop results in no arrests On Saturday, July 3, between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m., the Killam RCMP, with the assistance with Viking RCMP, conducted Alberta Check Stops on both of the busy highways into Killam. Members were able to make contact with over 50 vehicles and police did 37 Mandatory Alcohol Screening demands which all resulted in every driver of having zero alcohol. The Killam RCMP is happy with this result and are proud of the Flagstaff community for

The Killam RCMP remain vigilant and proactive in regarding to stopping impaired drivers. The Killam RCMP wish for anyone to report any suspected impaired drivers that they encounter on the road. Cst.
