The Battle River 4-H Beef Club held a Food Drive for the Flagstaff Food Bank from Dec. 13 to16, in Sedgewick. Club Reporter Jayde Niehaus says, “Railside Spirits accepted donations all day, every day, but the members welcomed donors at The Hive from 4 to 6 p.m. Senior club members set up the room and decorated. Junior and intermediate members were on hand every day to greet, help where needed, and hand out candy canes. Thursday evening everything was packed up and it filled a Suburban from front to back, top to bottom. That made it a success, even though it was terribly cold. Many thanks to all the donors of food and cash - Merry Christmas!” Above: Club members show off their haul before itʼs loaded up.
