‘In the Spirit,’ is an art exhibition that featured the work of twelve artists from the English, French and Dutch speaking Caribbean and the Diaspora. ‘In the Spirit’ was hosted by the Institute of Caribbean Studies in conjunction with Caribbean InTransit, a Caribbean Arts Journal.
The exhibition was housed at the staff gallery of the Inter-American Development Bank, 1300 New York Ave NW from June 6 – 11. It is open to the public from 12-6 p.m. daily. The exhibition was officially opened by James Early, director of Cultural Heritage Policy at the Smithsonian Center for Folk Life and Cultural Heritage.
