GRENADA
Western Road Corridor Upgrade
This project will make major upgrades to approximately 20 km of the key arterial route along the west coast of Grenada from the capital city, St. George’s, to the village of Victoria in St. Mark. The project will improve efficiency, climate resilience, accessibility and road safety along the project route and help expand livelihood opportunities for residents in communities along the western road corridor.
50,150 residents
of Grenada will benefit from improved access to all weather, climate resilient, safer roads, and reduced travel times along the project corridor.

This project has been made possible through a grant from the United Kingdom Government under the UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund (UKCIF), which provides grant funding for climate-resilient infrastructure projects to encourage growth and to support improved livelihoods, poverty reduction and safer conditions for residents. UKCIF is administered by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
