The focus of Pusnes life cycle support has changed during the last five years. While the 足previous focus was on the North Sea, we have now become a worldwide player. The market has changed and so have we. In 2007, we established the first operation support centre for Pusnes equipment in Singapore, and today we have operation support centres in Brazil, USA, United Arab Emirates, South Korea and China. Our main focus for the coming years is to develop our international operation support centres into support centres with fully fledged services.

Middle East More and more vessels with Pusnes equipment are trading in the Middle East, and an increasing number of ship owners choose Middle Eastern yards for drydocking and repair. We are proud to say that our activity in Fujairah, UAE, has increased over the last couple of years. In order to be there for our customers where and when they need us, we have established an operation support centre. Singapore Our operation support centre in Singapore has access to an internet-based e ­ -commerce system owned by the Maritime and Port Authority of S ­ ingapore. With this system, we can identify all the vessels with P ­ usnes™ equipment coming into the Singapore area, and supply spare parts and service wherever the need occurs. Pusnes life cycle support in Singapore serves the Far East and South East Asia. In addition to c ­ arrying out service and warranty work, we ­perform ­onboard inspections.

South Korea The main purpose of our operation support centre in Korea is to carry out local commissioning for Pusnes™ deck machinery, delivered to Korean yards. This operation support centre is able to further assist our customers around the globe on all spare parts and modification requests.

China Pusnes is a well established name in China, and although competition is tough, many shipyards prefer using Pusnes™ deck machinery. The main focus of our operation support centre in China is to assist new building yards and ship managers during installation, commissioning, dry docking and repair.


Brazil Our operation support centre in Brazil was established in order to provide life cycle support to the increasing number of Pusnes mooring and loading systems in South America. We extend our services to customers in this area and its surroundings in order to serve all types of requests.

USA The growing market and demand for our p 足 resence in the Gulf of Mexico were key factors in developing an operation support centre in Houston. We focus on marketing, business development, sales and customer support, primarily for the offshore market in the Gulf of Mexico. This support centre also carries out service and inspections on mooring and loading systems on both the east and the west coast of North America.


Health, safety, environment and quality

Pusnes academy The Pusnes academy was founded in January 2009. The academy offers a number of product specific operator courses. These courses are available for the entire Pusnes product range and include theory, operation, and hands-on experience. The training courses facilitate the day to day work for all maintenance and operating personnel, giving you, as our customer, the ultimate return on your investment.

We take personal responsibility for health, safety, and the environment. Health for personnel through all phases of the product lifetime is important to us. We believe in safety to reduce risk of accidents and to achieve reliable operations. We focus on environmental awareness through all aspects of ­operation, and we continuously develop e ­ nvironmentally sound solutions. We focus on these factors because we care about people, the environment and our customers.

Although our products are designed for long-term operation, proper maintenance and service including replacement of consumable parts is essential. This ensures long-lasting operational equipment that will eliminate vessel downtime and reduce life span cost. The practical part of the course takes place in the workshop, right next to our office. With its scenic surroundings from the Tromøy island in Arendal, and top class modern facilities, we are confident that you will find this a perfect learning ­environment. Courses can also be arranged in other locations on request.
