Moving Forward Together As we move into the start of a busy spring season, we want to take a moment to recognize the work that’s already been put in. The winter months are never easy. Between the weather, shifting schedules, and tight coordination, there’s a lot of added complexity — and we appreciate how everyone has continued to push forward and support one another.

As we head into the next phase of the year, our focus remains clear: Accountability and Ownership. Projects are moving, expectations are set, and this is where consistency matters most. Every successful job depends on each person owning their role and understanding how their work impacts the entire team.

Focus Area What We’re Leaning Into

As we move into a busy spring season, here’s what matters most:: • Clear ownership of responsibilities • No silent handoffs — confirm next steps • Early communication on issues or delays • Material planning and coordination • Accurate and timely paperwork • Supporting teammates instead of assuming “someone else has it.”

Small gaps that appear early can become big problems later. Staying focused on the basics keeps projects on track and sets the entire team up for success!

Safety Corner The Cost of Complacency

In our line of work, small shortcuts can have significant consequences. Complacency is one of the biggest risks on any jobsite, especially when we’ve done something “a hundred times before.” As work picks up and projects move faster, it’s even more important to stay focused and take ownership of every task: • Double-check your setup – ensure tools, equipment, and materials are ready and secure.

• Revisit the plan before starting – confirm everyone knows the steps and risks.

• Don’t assume someone else verified it – accountability starts with you.

• Ask questions if you’re unsure – no question is too small when it comes to someone's safety.

We depend on each other to go home safe at the end of every day.

Team Highlights Teamwork Driving Results

As work continues to ramp up, coordination across departments remains critical to keeping projects moving.

From preconstruction laying the groundwork, to PM oversight, to PC follow-ups, to warehouse staging, and field execution — projects only move successfully when all pieces work together.

Every milestone reached is a team win.

Holiday Party Recap Generation Axe - January 2026

Our January Holiday Party at Generation Axe was a blast and a great opportunity to spend time together outside of the job site and office.

From axe throwing to arcade games (and a very competitive video game boxing challenge), it was great seeing everyone unwind and connect.

Special shout-out to Dustin Thomas, who took home the win in the boxing challenge — now we all know who not to mess with!

Events like this remind us that Carey Electric is built on strong relationships — the same teamwork and support we bring to our projects every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Operations Update Doing our part to keep projects moving

• As we move into spring, clarity and coordination are critical to keeping projects on track and running efficiently. Preconstruction setting clear scope expectations • PMs owning schedule, cost, and communication • PCs tracking material, and vendor follow-ups • Field teams providing daily logs and communicating job site needs • Warehouse supporting timely staging and tool management When each role is owned fully, we reduce rework, delays, and frustration.
