78 TH ANNUAL CONVENTION & EXPOSITION
1
78TH CONVENTION & EXPOSITION: GROWING THE FUTURE—ROOTED IN PURPOSE On behalf of all of us on the staff and Board at Care Providers of Minnesota, we are so excited to see you at the 78th Convention & Exposition. Each year, we gather for outstanding education, networking and connection with colleagues and friends, celebrations for award winners and Leading4Life graduates, and keynote sessions that inspire and remind us why we do this work. This year’s convention, to be held November 9-11, 2026 at Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, features the theme “Growing the Future—Rooted in Purpose.” This theme reminds us that a better future for long-term care is possible when we take the time to remember the purpose that first brought us to this industry.
Monarch Healthcare Management and friends host its Tuesday evening reception - BLAST TO THE PAST. Join us for dinner, music, and connection with friends new and old! Care Providers of Minnesota’s Foundation Silent Auction takes place on Tuesday, from 8:30 am-6:00 pm. 100% of the funds raised through the annual silent auction are used for caregiver scholarships. Invest in the future of long-term care: bid early and often!
We invite you to browse through this GUIDE to get a glimpse of the great opportunities we have in store for you. We can’t wait to see you in November!
New this year! We’re taking the auction online through GiveButter, making it easier than ever to browse, bid, and keep an eye on your favorite items. Browse auction items only available online, place your bids, and keep an eye on your favorites from the convenience of your phone, tablet, or computer.
Here’s a quick run-down on what you can expect:
Register to bid in order to participate.
70 learning sessions led by knowledgeable and seasoned presenters. Sessions address a wide range of topics that providers are facing today including AI, recruiting & retention, clinical practices, dining & nutrition, and much more!
Visit careproviders.org/silentauction and select “Register to Bid.”
Our annual meeting on Monday is open to all members. Attending is important as it provides you with an opportunity to participate in governance decisions for the Association, as well as meet those who will guide the Association in the coming years. (Note, the annual meeting is open to all members, lunch will be provided; however, an RSVP is required.) Two keynote sessions and award ceremonies: Monday’s keynote presenter is Jerrid Sebesta, uses the RE:CEIVE Formula™ to help caregivers identify the hidden beliefs quietly driving their depletion, reconnect with why they chose this work in the first place, and learn how to release the weight they were never meant to carry alone. We will recognize Leading4Life Graduates and our own Care Providers of Minnesota award recipients.
Speaker sessions run Monday through Wednesday with over 70 sessions to choose from. For detailed descriptions of all our education sessions—including specific tracks for assisted living and skilled nursing—we invite you to visit our Convention & Exposition website at careproviders.org/ convention. Download the conference app for the latest updates! Our app is available for Apple or Android devices, as well as via your web browser. Thank you for taking the time to invest in yourself and your team by joining us for this year’s Convention. We look forward to seeing you there!
Tuesday’s keynote is Sherlonda Sharp, will deliver a highenergy, engaging session that blends practical management advice with humor to build cohesive organizational cultures. We will recognize additional award winners and the National Quality Award recipients celebrating their achievement on Tuesday. Be sure to join us for the Tuesday keynote for our surprise 2026 Member of the Year presentation! Expo hours on Monday and Tuesday offer unparalleled networking opportunities with our business partners. Join us Monday in the expo hall at 4:30 PM for the exhibitors’ reception for refreshments and great company.. Dedicated expo hours on Tuesday include a complimentary lunch.
