Emotional wellbeing describes your mental state – how you are feeling and how you cope with day-to-day life.
One in four of us will experience mental ill-health each year and this can lead to issues such as depression and anxiety. The following resources and support are available for mild to moderate mental ill-health.

Reading Well – Books on Prescription offers a selection of books to help you to understand and manage your mental health and wellbeing using self-help reading.
The books are all endorsed by health experts, as well as by people living with the conditions covered and their relatives and carers.

Bromley Well provides support to adults and their families and carers who may be experiencing mild concerns relating to their emotional and mental wellbeing through information, advice and peer support.

Talk together Bromley is a free NHS evidence-based talking therapy service for people aged 18 years and over, who are anxious, stressed, have low mood or suffer from depression. A range of treatment programmes are available, including one-to-one therapy, counselling and group work.
