Key Responsibilities
Oversee the coordination of representation systems at Transnational Education (TNE) and Partner campus sites, including Course Reps, and provide support with the coordination of the home representation systems.
Design and maintain systems which enable reps at these sites to shape and influence university decision making related to their academic experience.
Create and maintain databases on our Course Representatives for TNE sites and partner campuses.
Design and deliver activities which enhance communities and the sense of belonging at TNE sites, and support with activities at home sites.
Develop and maintain digital and physical resources specific to Student Voice- specifically for the Student Networks (LGBTQIA+, Disabled, Global Majority etc) and students studying at TNE & college partner sites.
Coordinate and support the operational delivery of key SU democratic functions and design specific mechanisms for those at TNE sites.
Design and deliver work which supports marginalised and underrepresented students influence university decision making.
Work closely with student leaders and support them in achieving their personal goals.
Coordinate the delivery of outreach activities to further enhance student understanding of the SU’s Voice mechanisms and University feedback systems.
To support the Advice coordinator in the delivery of the advice service at TNE & partner college sites, & home sites.
To support the Advice coordinator and Voice coordinator in the understanding and delivery of wider Voice activities at, home, TNE, and partner college sites.
Supporting other Union department activities across the SU when needed.
Person Specification
Essential Desirable
•
Experience in delivering outreach activities.
Knowledge of issues affecting the higher education sector.
Knowledge of higher education policy, student rights, and safeguarding procedures.
Experience handling confidential casework and working within ethical guidelines.
Educated to an undergraduate level or demonstratable experience working in a university or HE setting.
£24,070 - £27,914
