About Caramoor Concerts Caramoor provides a unique setting for concerts on a 90-acre estate with Italianate architecture and gardens in Westchester County, NY. Its diverse and innovative programming encompasses classical, jazz, American roots, opera, American songbook, and family events.
The Rosen House At the heart of the Caramoor grounds is the Rosen House, built by founders Walter and Lucie Rosen to express their passion for music and the arts. A Mediterranean-style villa that was completed in 1939, the House includes entire rooms originally from Italy, France and England, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Afternoon Teas Enjoy delightful tea sandwiches, delicious desserts and a variety of fragrant teas, preceded by a tour of the Rosen House. As you explore the estate, the docents invite you to get to know the Rosen family, their much loved country home, and the history-laden art collection.
Sonic Innovations Sonic Innovations continues to expand Caramoor’s programming with an annual exhibition of sound art, commissioned from artists working with sonic materials outside the traditional modes of concert music. The exhibit is open from mid-June through mid-November.
