LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Cara Mía Theatre recognizes the Native people whose ancestral lands are where Cara Mía produces theatre. We wish to acknowledge the land of the Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Tawákoni, Wichita and Caddo people which is now called Dallas. Commanches and Kiowa (Ky Oh Wuh) have also lived in this region although it is not often recognized as their homeland. We acknowledge that Dallas is stolen land and that this city was built with stolen labor. We call for the unity and solidarity of all of our peoples in making a better world.

The average price of a ticket is $16. If we had to charge the full price to cover all of the costs of running Cara Mía Theatre and producing shows, we would have to charge $114 per ticket! To fill the gap between our ticket prices and what it costs, Cara Mía sells concessions, applies for grant applications, finds corporate sponsors, requests in-kind support, and solicits contributions from individuals. Every gift helps keep ticket prices affordable for everyone! Please show your support for Cara Mía Theatre with a donation.
