INTRODUCING CAPITAL MEDICAL SOCIETY’S
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Your new Executive Director is most likely a familiar face as she has more than 10 years of experience in the Tallahassee medical community. Pam Wilson took the helm on May 12th and is quickly learning the ins and outs of the Capital Medical Society.
Ms. Wilson currently serves as the Community Service Director on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Tallahassee. She is also a past member of the PAM WILSON For those of you who don’t know her, Ms. Association of Fundraising Professionals, Wilson’s background includes fundraising, the Economic Club of Florida, and event planning, management, marketing, Toastmasters International. She has participated in several mission trips in the and communications. U.S., Nicaragua, and Africa. Ms. Wilson has worked in various health care positions, which include: Development Officer at Westminster Retirement Communities Foundation, where she was instrumental in fundraising for the Maguire Center for Lifelong Learning; Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of the Big Bend Hospice Foundation, where she raised monies to complete the Capital Campaign to renovate the Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House and build the Jean McCully Family House; and most recently, Senior Development Officer at the Florida State University College of Medicine Foundation, where she secured gift attributions in excess of $4,000,000 for a twoyear period.
Ms. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in German from the University of Kentucky. She is married and has two grown sons. One serves in the U.S. Army and the other is a campus ministry intern at the College of Charleston. Ms. Wilson’s hit-the-ground running approach makes this an exciting time for Capital Medical Society. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome to CMS! CMS
